I had Precision Garage Door out to service my door, the company replaced parts and stated someone would call when the remaining parts come in. The remaining parts are two glasses the broke when the door malfunctioned. The technician **** ******* stated that I would receive a receipt for the glass replacement when they come out to replace but charge me for it and just gave me receipt for just parts replace on that day. I've attached what I was charged and the receipt that was given to me the day of appointment. I currently can get the company to finish the job they charged me for. I have two open areas on my door and the temperatures are dropping and risk critters trying to find a home.

On 8/1/24, the Precision tech arrived at my garage. I described the problem, which was that the garage door did not close from the outside, using the remote fob, car play button, or outside keypad. The door did not move when using these methods from outside of the garage. However I could open the door from the keypad, car play button and remote fob from outside of the door. The wall mounted switch inside of the garage worked. I could open and close from the wall mounted switch inside of the garage. He diagnosed the problem and recommended new sensors. He then installed the new sensors. Later, after I paid the bill and the technician left, I tried to close the door from outside. But the outside keypad, car play and remote fob still did not close the door from the outside. So, the original problem, for which I paid $275.60 for the installation of new sensors, was still there.I called and made an appointment for the technician to return and fix the problem. When he inspected the system again he found that I had regular LED light bulbs in the garage opener. He then took out the bulbs and all controls ********* problem solved!! But he did not diagnose the real cause for the problem until after he installed the new sensors. The sensors were not causing the issue. Very simple. If he had checked the bulbs I would not have had to buy new sensors.(And by the way, the technician signed the invoice saying that I had agreed to the original repair. I did not sign it. Well of course I agreed. He told me that he fixed the problem).

In March of this year, I had my garage door replaced by Precision and during the installation, the technician noticed an are of damage and advised me that it would be taken care of. The price for the new door and installation was $3,921.94. I have made several calls with several promises to follow up on this issue. I called as recently as last week and was advised that a supervisor would call me this past Monday, June 17, 2024 and to date have had no response from the complany. This is really upsetting since I paid them without hesitation and their advertisements indicate that they are a reputable and dependable company

April of 2023 I ordered a door via salesman Fred. The cost was $24000 plus. That said up until the signing and half down payment made Fred was Johnny on the spot. Since then I have fought to get them to finish the job, repair the door, swap panels and now another repair. I have to send ridiculous amounts of messages often times with no reply. It’s to the point now that if it wasn’t nearly 25 thousand dollars it would be funny. But it’s not. Today for instance I was told someone would be out between 10-12 no call no show in true Precision Garage Door Fashion. As a Contractor myself, I couldn’t imagine doing my Clients this way. Furthermore I will not be doing any future business with Precision Garage Doors of Maryland. And I strongly recommend against anyone else using them.

On Feb 16, 2023 the technician Craig T. came to my house for a schedule garage door repair because my gargage door was not staying down when I pressed the door opener, after looking at the door Mr Craig stated I needed a Tune-up and reprogram the door which cost $349 I explained I didn't have that much to spend and he agreed to just Reprogram the motor for $129 and 2 800 Genie LED bulbs for $20, the door closed fine and stayed down I gave the technician a check for $150.20 the tech left after about 45 minutes of work around 10am, I had an errand to run and left around 11:30 the garage door did the same thing I just paid the tech for, it would not stay down and I kept pressing the opener to no avail I called the technician back and he said "it probable was a leaf in the door stopping it from closing (I had just swept the garage before the tech arrived..no leaves) I asked Mr. Craig would it cost for him to come back because the door is still malfunctioning he said "yeah probably" so I informed himl I will file a complaint with BBB, later I called Precision Garage Door business and explained to the clerk about the door not working after my payment she assured me she would have 1 of the 2 managers on duty to call me and reschedule me for 2/18/2023 I have yet to receive a call from anyone and I called my bank to put a stop payment on the check I provided which cost me $20 and my garage door still isn't functioning as it should.

On February 16th, 2023, our technician Craig T did go to said customers house and did program her remotes and replace two 800 Genie LED bulbs.  Customer was charged a fee of $150.20 which she paid with a check.  She did call in after the technician left stating that she was still having the same problem which she declined to have fixed as she did not have the money to do so.  The technician was scheduled to go back to her house the next day but customer called several times saying that she did not want to hear from him or us as she would forget she loved the Lord.  We chose not to deposit said check and unfortunately, we did not go back per the customers wishes.  Office staff tried speaking with her to resolve her issues as well as the technician with no luck. Again, customer was not charged for the service call.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
