My vehicle was towed from a school zone where the vehicle must be moved at a certain time each morning at 7AM. On the morning of Friday, May 17th of 2024, the vehicle was towed from the school premises at 2:11AM due to repossession using the improper towing method causing damages; note the vehicle was paid in full the night before the incident after being told everything is ok since the payment was made. I spent hours that day and the day after that making phone calls and connecting with the right individual regarding the retrieval of the vehicle. A police report had been made thinking that the vehicle was stolen. Video surveillance from the school zone and traffic including the workplace showed that the vehicle was fully functional. Finally, during the retrieval process at **** ********** *** ********** *** ***** on Monday, May 20th, 2024, I was greeted with "Your car was parked there the entire time from when it was towed" before they even got my name. The first question being what vehicle I am here to retrieve and instantly, I had an uncertain feeling about it. I was told then that the vehicle wasn't moving, causing me to miss time off work. Moments after, I was told they would have it towed to my residence the same day as a priority and have everything taken care of regarding any damage. The next morning, I woke up and the vehicle had not arrived causing me to return to the towing facility on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024, and ask how the vehicle can be retrieved. I asked why I was told something and received the opposite the individual responded with because “we worked all night” and smiled while saying so then mentioned a fee but had to be cash. Then after cos??t of towing back to residence, from another company to shop having diagnostic done, travel back and forth to work, and other essential destinations all while just starting a new job and other life circumstances started to really take a toll an entire month of insurance and vehicle payment had went down.

This company repoed my Car on the 24th of this month illegally. Illegally entering a private enclosed garage without my permission or the permission of the “owner” of the property. The owner of the property does not include security or concierge employees. They are well aware of this DC law but still tricked their way onto the private property. They need to bring my car back and allow me to turn it in myself without the storage charges. ASAP or I will file suit against them, ****** ***** ********** for hiring them and whoever allowed you on the property without knowledge of the DC law. Also this 2020 Nissan 370Z Coupe was in mint condition before it was stolen from the garage I hope it remains in the same condition. It was parked behind a concrete beam and could not have been towed without damage. I will not pay for the damage caused by the company of any. There were no dents or scratches on the car. If there is they own the car and should pay for it themselves.
