Upon arrival I made two requests. I needed an oil change and I needed diagnostics as my check engine light had come on. Immediately I was given an entire list of things that were wrong with my car. I continued to ask what the check engine light issue was and was told “this is part of it” and that I needed to have this work done to fix the light. Over my time waiting I was continuously told I needed more services, and I continued to say I just needed the light to go off, but was misled to believe that this is what I needed to fix the light. Finally I was told I needed an additional service around $425.00. This was after my total had already reached over $1000.00. I said that I didn’t feel comfortable spending more money and was told my car was ready then. After all of this and paying for all these services my check engine light is still on and I had no idea what is wrong with my car. After this experience I brought my car to a different mechanic. I was informed that the issue was a $15.00 sensor and it would take 5 minutes to replace. Once I checked my receipt, I realized they never even ran diagnostics in the first place. They just made up what they decided might be wrong and misled me in the process.

Jiffy Lube damaged my vehicle. I went there on October 25, 2022 for a standard oil change and windshield wiper replacement. Shortly after leaving, I noticed that my windshield wiper arms were malfunctioning. I returned to the store immediately and the employees attempted to fix it. Days later, the problem persisted. I returned to the store once again and this time, an employee claimed that there was an issue with my car prior to them changing the wiper blades. I asked why this was never communicated to me until then and got no response. The following week I got in touch with the manager **** who issued a refund. He stated that they've had this problem before so he would purchase and install new wiper arms at the company's expense. He also agreed to send me a copy of the video footage showing the work that had been done on my car. He was adamant that Jiffy Lube had not caused the damages but he has yet to send me the footage, and the wipers are still broken. On December 23, 2022 after contacting Corporate, I spoke with the franchise owner, ****. **** is also denying that Jiffy Lube damaged my car and he is refusing to show me the footage as well. He blamed it on the fact that I have a 20 year old car, which is irrelevant because the car only has ****** miles and it has been well taken care over the years. In addition, the video footage would show exactly what took place with my vehicle! It is very odd that Jiffy **** refuses to give me the footage, confirming that they have "had this problem before" as **** stated. Prior to coming to Jiffy Lube, I've never had issues with my windshield wipers. Today they no longer work, especially in inclement weather which is a huge safety concern.

We have sent the video she requested probably 4 times to the email she provided. The video shows that nothing we did could have caused her issue. The attachments show the last time that I personally sent it to her. I would be willing to show her the video and take a look at her wiper situation myself.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have checked my email numerous times and have not received an email from *************************** as your screenshot shows. When we spoke on the phone, you (****) told me that it may not have gone through because the file is too large! That is clearly the case and I would have appreciated a follow up from you to confirm receipt. So again, I still have not received the video. Is there some other method of delivery that you can recommend? Attached you will find the screenshot from my email showing no record of an email from ***************************.

We do not get a retuned email saying that the email did not get received by you. As stated in the previous response I would be more than happy to meet you at the store and show you the video and look at your wiper situation. We can come up with a solution then. Does Monday morning or early afternoon work with you. If so let me know a time. Thanks
