    I hired this company (Detailz construction Corporation) in May **************************************************** my backyard. I paid them $42475.00 for the job including some changes we made in the project and some were forced changes. Anyways, It was finished in little over a months time. Within a year hairline cracks started appearing all over the patio and big one on the steps. Ever since I have been asking this company to fix them. They keep ignoring on one pretext or the other. This is almost June 2024, and I am still begging them (**** ******** and **** ******) to fix it. I have been told that they don't know what to do and how to fix it. ( I have all the email conversation in this regard) They said they can fix only the steps part and not the hairline cracks on the patio. I will have to ignore the main patio to get the big crack fixed on the steps. I spent so much money to enjoy the patio in my backyard and enhance my property value. But I am stuck with the cracked steps and hairline cracks all over the patio and watch them grow bigger and my hard earned money going down the drain. It's been three years that they have been giving me a run around. I am trying to resolve this issue amicably and not take the legal route. Hopefully they would appreciate my patience and be professional and come forward to resolve the matter ****.

    Good Afternoon. Please find attached my response to the above-mentioned complaint. I am also attaching some videos of the cracks on the main floor area besides the steps. I sent this email to Mr. **** ******** and Mr. **** ****** on 05/06/23 for their attention. This will show the size of the cracks in the main floor which Mr. ******** is claiming that happened because of the footers. Hopefully the above-mentioned attachments will make lot of things clear. Looking forward to the resolution ASAP. They have already ruined the function at my house in the middle of June, as I requested him to fix the damage before the function. Instead, they chose to dispute the whole thing. What a shame.

    I reject his response as complete nonsense. As expected, Mr. **** ******** copy pasted the previous response with few changes. He is hiding behind the ***'s guidelines and trying avoid his and companies responsibility and the substandard work he did.  He charged me extra $2500.00 to reinforce the floor so that it doesn't crack. I am very sure that he used substandard materials that caused this problem. He has to get it fixed or pay my money back.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I would like to reject the offer of Mediation for complaint ID ********. I am not willing to spend anymore money than I already have paid this man for a horrible job he did. Secondly Mr. **** ******** is completely ignoring the fact that he used CR6 instead of #** as agreed on the contract and he did not pour enough (as per the contract) concrete. I feel the combination of these facts caused the cracks in the floor. He thinks just quoting *************************** gives him a free pass for the work he does and not be responsible for the substandard work. I am forced to take a legal action against him and his company. 

    I appreciate the fact that BBB tried its best, unfortunately Mr. **** ********/**** ***** are not willing to budge.
