I just want to know why I was charged $21 for something called e.govmt! I dont know why this occurred but it needs to be refunded I have no clue what the service is even for and I want to cancel for good -never to be charged again!!Business Response

I wanted to renew my passport and didnt realize this wasnt the correct website. I didnt need assistance. I clicked the refund link in the email I got the next morning to cancel the order. It hadnt even been 24 hours. Ive tried canceling 6 times but havent gotten confirmation. I want a refund.Business Response

I was attempting to file for an EIN using what I thought were gov't websites. NO WHERE on this site does it state 3rd party billing. I have requested a refund and no one has answered me! In my attempt to register my business, the ************************** website was the first to come up on my ****** search and was the first site I clicked on. After filling in multiple pages of information, I realized that the site was not the correct one and interrupted my application. I however was charged $249 for a service that was not fulfilled or completed and never received a receipt for the transaction, letting me believe that this was an interrupted transaction. I looked up filing for an EIN number. I thought I was on the EIN section of the IRS website. I was apparently misled, because when I was told there was a $249.00 charge I paid it. I was later told by a couple people that filing for an EIN is free. I went back to email confirmations and the company is called USA-TaxID.com with an email saying [email protected] No where did it say this was an outside company. I looked at my bank information and the charge went to egov assist. I looked it up and the BBB is investigating it as fraudulent. I definitely was taken and misled, unfortunately. I will try to dispute the charge through my bank. I feel like I need to change my bank account number now.Business Response
