    I answered a for sale ad for a 2005 *** X5 3.oi that was for sale at M & A window tinting. I drove the car and I liked it so I agreed to buy the car. There were no problems listed with the car for sale.. The next day I promptly sent Zelle payments for $3600 to **** to pay for the car. When I pick the car up, I noticed that it was not blowing out cool air from the air conditioning and text him to tell him that there was a problem. I also brought to his attention that the right side headlight was out. He never responded, and when I kept trying to address the problem, he cursed me out and told me that he was doing me a favor and could sell the car to many other people. He is not reputable and is a distrustful business person. When I received the title, it was in another dealerships name Murrays used cars on Reisterstown in *********. I asked him who that was and he said that was his business. That was a lie.! When I finally contacted **** ****** of Murrays used Cars . He told me that that was not true. It was a big headache to get my car titled since it had a Pennsylvania auction title and it was never titled in ********. I live in *************. I have since gotten my air conditioning compressor replaced, and new Freon, the headlight replaced. And an overall maintenance of the car. The washer fluid was empty, and the oil was low.! He definitely shouldnt be selling or fixing cars. I also never received a bill of sale for my car and had a lot of trouble trying to get one to just get my car registered with tags. I had my car for over three weeks that I couldnt even drive it because I was dealing with this misrepresentation and bad business practice.. He as well as Murrays Used Cars blocked my phone number when all I wanted to do was get my car on the road. I would never recommend either one of them at this point.

    ****, the owner agreed to have his mechanic go over a 2004 *** X5 3.0. I with an oil leak, find the sourceand repair. After having the runaround given for two weeks, the car was still not repaired and finally we were told it was repaired and told to pick the car up. The car was picked up and the very next day started having loud noises coming from the engine also the car has been damaged while it was in his possession at his shop. To our surprise, the car had a a very small amount of oil in it when we picked it up. When oil was added to the car, it immediately leaked from everywhere and the car has sat in the driveway ever since. This guy is a con artist and gives you the runaround. The car was supposed to be repaired and fixed within a day or two and it took 14 days when I complained as to what was taking so long, he cursed me out and he was going to put the car on the street with the keys in it and I told him I would call the police and he better not. He does not return phone calls at all and does not communicate with you..

    I am responding to the false and misleading complaint made regarding the repair of a 2004 *** X5.


    To clarify: the mechanic mentioned in the complaint is not affiliated with my business. He is an independent shop owner and a personal acquaintance. The customer specifically requested his services, as he had previously worked on another *** she purchased from me and she was happy with the results. I was transparent from the start that he does not work for me, and I was simply connecting her as a favor.


    I have text message records and phone call logs showing that I maintained professional communication throughout. I repeatedly asked when the vehicle would be paid for and picked up. She informed me days later that they wouldnt have the money until her second paycheck, which explains why the vehicle remained on the property for over three weeks. That delay was never my responsibility.


    After multiple delays, I clearly informed her that if payment was not made and the vehicle not retrieved, it would be moved to the street. This was a legal and reasonable response to their lack of action. I never threatened her or mishandled the vehicle.


    When the car was picked up, there were no complaints at that time, and no damage was mentioned in person. I did not perform, authorize, or charge for any oil change or internal work on the engine. Additionally, I have surveillance footage and documented evidence showing the vehicle was returned in proper condition.


    After I stopped engaging due to her increasingly disrespectful and erratic late-night texts, this BBB complaint was filed as retaliation.

    Counter-Dispute and Losses:


    I am filing a counter-dispute in the amount of $1,900, broken down as follows:


    $900 discount on the *** vehicle she purchased from me (out of kindness and based on her financial situation).
    $400 labor/referral discount on the repairs (provided by my friend at her request not affiliated with my business).
    $600 in storage fees for over three weeks past the agreed pickup time after repeated notices.

    I have documentation and records to support each of these.

    Final Statement:


    I acted out of good faith, honesty, and generosity even giving large discounts and going beyond what was required, just to help her and her daughter. I did not deserve this complaint in return. My time, money, and integrity were taken advantage of.


    I respectfully request this complaint be dismissed in full, and my counter-claim for $1,900 be recognized. I am prepared to submit evidence of communication, video footage, and discount records to support every point.

    08/14/24 On Wednesday August 14th I went around the city looking for car tinting on my vehicle I had came across this man on social media and I gave him a call to seek tinting upon arriving at his business *************************************** he welcomed me in and showed me his waiting area but as I wanted to watch the tinting process he began to be upset at the bay door there is a garage door opening to the mechanic room as Im standing in the doorway he shuts the door and I had to hurry and move back to avoid mutilation I asked if I could watch my car being worked on because anything can happen and I wanna be in good standing he told me I couldnt watch and that I had to sit in the waiting room, once I entered the room he locked me out from the mechanic room and continued to display a nasty attitude. I would love for this business to be shut down he has several of bad reviews on ****** and today Im adding another I dont trust this guy with my car and if I knew this was the type of business this was I wouldve never came.

    This customer is absolutely right. He was walking around in my garage as he wanted to walk through all the doors walking through the bay door then back through my other door it clearly states everywhere customers are not allowed to enter my work area pacifically for insurance reasons, that was the first thing I told him I was very respectful to him, I have Nothing against anyone in the ************** I am very respectful to everyone no matter who you are. What gender you are or what race you are, but I noticed when I said, **** to this guy, he got offended. Im not wrong for that. Im not wrong for telling you my business policies you are not allowed to stand in my doorways youre not allowed to walk around in the back of my garage and youre definitely not allowed to just stand in the garage doorway, it clearly says customer are not allowed past this point pacifically because I have very expensive equipment thats back here that can easily be stolen by someone wandering around my shop as they please I asked him and gave him the ultimate respect about everything. I have it all on camera the door to my mechanic shop are supposed to be locked at all times Its for employees only .The door to the waiting area is the only door that customers are allowed to come through, that is my business policy . The customer states that they paid $250 He only paid $200. I have everything on camera video and audio of every last word that was being said inside and outside of my shop. Because I explained to him that he could not walk And wander around as he please around my very expensive equipment, machine and tools. You make a bad report and act like I did something wrong to you. When all I did was go out of my way to service you respectfully no matter the respect that you gave me coming in the door. Your attitude was very, very sassy coming in the door for no reason, I gave this customer the ultimate respect every last time he asked me anything or called and I explained to him this situation before he left and he said thank you very much. I am not wrong for having my policy the way I want to have my policy no one unless you are an employee or the owner of property inside of this garage , you are not allowed to walk around and wander around in here as you please. The rules said clearly on the This is the waiting area for the customers customers are not allowed In the back of my Garage when me and my employees are working it is that simple. Its no disrespect to him or no one else he was not singled out. That was the rules and thats it.

    I was told to come to the business and one of the workers fessed with me about a job that was done work on they end my tint was peeling in the front and front to window had the wrong percentage on the car , then this guy leaves another person car door opened in my car , in with I politely return , this place is bad for business, the guy who works there have a bad attitude, and trying to they me I was trying to get over when I paid the guy what he ask , but the guy who work they , try to increase the price , that is wrong for business

    Unprofessional business. This man had me waiting hours to get my car windows tinted and never did them. I had a set time at 6:00 and he wasted my time. This business is very unprofessional and I do not recommend anyone to do business with them!
