I have a ******* Product that I bought for over $1000 dollars that came with a 1-year limited warranty in case of any defective damage that came with the device. This product was bought back in June of 2024, and has recently stopped working in January, 2025. The product is a flip phone that had the inner screen go out, and there was no signs of damage caused by misuse on the screen itself. However, after I contacted ******* about the issue on the phone, and letting them know that the device was still under warranty. After shipping the phone out, they voided my warranty, claiming damage to the screen. However, that was the whole point for the warranty claim was for the defective screen. After reviewing their warranty terms, no where does it say that a defective screen voids the warranty. on #6 of ******* warranty policy for phones, it states that warranty is void if it is "Damage to the product caused by improper operation or use, by not following user manual instructions or defects caused by external sources, impact, paint cosmetic damage in general, scratches, fissures, evidence of residues of water, sweat or food inside the unit.." Regardless, even if the phone was no longer covered under normal warranty, ******* has false advertised on their discounted repairs programs. During the launch of the product, the phone was promoted to have a special 'z assurance' program that granted any customer with accidental screen damage, such as cracking or shatters, with a discounted repair price of $200 for the entire screen repair that stands for 2 years. However, the repair techs at ******* were charging me $345 for the repair, even though that goes against what they were advertising during the launch of the product. My phone didn't have a single sign of abrasive damage to the screen, and yet the company tried to bill me extra charges beyond what was promised during the sale of the phone. The ************** at APKUDO were the ones handling my situation.

I entered the results of my laptop inspection back in the trade in estimator and the value is $825. The exact wording in the inspection report matches the current options in the trade in estimator. Why was I given credit for only $710?Wording in the inspection report states "Looks like new with no visible flaws, as if just out of the box." According to the estimator, this is "FLAWLESS" which is $825. Thank you

The **** Trade-In website (run by 3rd party Apkudo) quoted me a $922 trade-in valuation. My trade-in credit was originally supposed to be finalized on December 29th. On January 5th I opened a case with **** Customer Care as my credit still had not been finalized. Finally, on January 9th, I received an email that my trade-in credit was finalized. However, it wasn’t finalized for the original $922 I was quoted. My final valuation was $250, a $672 deduction from the original quote.

The reasoning was due to my trade-in PC being received as “faulty.” Did my high end Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU fail a test? No. It was listed as received “faulty” due to minor scratches (case) and a broken front cover (also case). After spending an extra week seeking a higher credit through **** Customer Care I was simply told that there was nothing they could do because Apkudo replied with the same details that my trade-in had a broken front cover which allowed for a major deduction.

The specs of my Alienware Aurora R11 trade-in:
    Intel Core I9 10900KF CPU
    32GB RAM
    1024 GB (1TB) SSD
    Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU

An Alienware Aurora R11 case can be found online for $100 so that would seem to be a fair deduction. When I asked to have my trade-in shipped back to me I was told it’s impossible because of the terms I agreed to when starting the trade-in process.

I felt I was wasting my time with **** Customer Care so I used the $250 credit towards a new Alienware R16. I was told this was a mistake because now I can never get any additional credit. Well, it seemed to me I was never going to get that additional credit anyway.

At least now I can warn other customers to never use the **** Trade-In program. Please look at ****** if you don’t believe me. Endless claims of trade-in partner Apkudo offering much less than what people were originally quoted. **** should cut ties with Apkudo permanently.
