  Another frustrated client. Im so upset that I fell for this character, agreeing to use him for my concrete job, to widen the driveway & repair the rear steps (5) to go outside. Im mad at myself or not doing my homework .The work is sloppy & it took about 3 1/2 weeks. Tracking dirt in the house each time we came in. Im embarrassed for people to see it & that I paid him $6,100. Its not what I was told I would get. He assured me that he would make it look really nice. It looks terrible! Looks like an amateur did the work. Very sloppy .He didnt put grass seed down in a necessary area like he said he would.Took too long for what I was having done. He broke up the old concrete with a jackhammer & after a couple weeks removed it by hand, not with professional grade equipment. He would just not show up some days with a different excuse each time. So disappointed! Ill have to pay another concrete company to repair his mess. I dont know how he sleeps at night!

  We hired *********************** in September 2022 to do a stamped concrete patio for us. We discussed the details at length and signed a contract. We paid him up from a total of $6800 with final payment due upon completion. It was one thing after another, excuse after excuse, lie after lie. He never started on time. He was barely here. We have photos of him sleeping in his car on our property. He is a fraud. No business license or insurance which he claimed he had. No gravel was ever spread under the concrete. The depth is thin and under 4". He didn't the stamping and dealing on 3 different days so the color is 3 different colors. The stairs were supposed to be crescent shaped and an inch or so below the lip if the slider but he did rectangular with rounded edge and you can barely step down to the first step. He made excuses up, lied and deceived us. In addition, his trucks cracked our driveway and caused deep tire marks in the trash which he said he would fix and never did. He never spread soil and grass seed to level the patio out either. He never finished. He was supposed to start in early November and finish by no later than 11/19. We were more than willing to work with him and were very patient. It is still not finished. He is not in communication since mid December. He threatened us, called me names and it became harassing. He claims he is "the **** of driveways and patios" but in reality he is a fraud. We now have to rip the patio up and start from scratch which will be a huge expense. I wish we never hired this guy as it's been a disaster.

  Joe ***** was contracted to install brick stair at my residence. We paid a $1,500 down payment and he started work on October 7, 2022. He was a no call, no show several times after this. When his guys did show they only worked for ~2 hours a day. On November 7, 2022, they partially demoed more of my existing concrete stair pad and were about to start laying brick when I saw the solid brick selected wasn't even close to matching the modular brick that was provided. The brick layer also said it would look bad. I told them to stop work and *** asked me for $500 so he had $ to for a partial day and for gas to find the matching brick. I gave him $250 against my better judgement. He left and never came back. My wife and I called and texted him numerous times with no response. He left my front yard a complete disaster - I had the clean up the brick mess myself. I finally got in touch with him after I threatened to sue and he said he did not get any calls or messages. I have copies of all text messages and attempted phone calls.

  Joe ***** signed a contract and took a deposit for a driveway apron and front porch on September 21, 2002. He cashed the deposit check on the 23rd of September. The contracted start date was 3 weeks out. After the contracted start date came, Joe was reached out to and he provided three different dates always pushing them back. I was notified by my neighbor and the county permits office directly that Joe could not pull needed permits and start the job as he was not licensed. Joe provided the county a business license for another company saying he works under their license. He is not employed by that company and that company denied giving use to Joe. They were never affiliated with this contract or work. After contacting Joe to discuss solutions, he finally admitted to not having his own license and said he would refund my deposit as no work was ever made towards my job. After reaching out to schedule a time to meet Joe, I was told "you ******* never will get my check" at 12:43am. This is disgraceful and not honorable business. It is a fraud. The builder who owns the license Joe falsely uses does not wish to be known and does not stand by Joe or wish to employ him. Not a single step was taken to work on my contracted job and Joe has taken my deposit with no intent to return it. And he cannot complete the work. He has not been licensed in MD for 20 years but sells jobs as if he is licensed and insured.

  On Tuesday July 12th, 2022 ****** ***** Concrete poured an 80x8' stamped concrete driveway for us. Right away we had Concerns about the quality of the work. we expressed our issues to ****** and he admitted that the day they poured the concrete it was too hot and by the time they reached the end of the driveway to stamp the concrete it was too hard to make an imprint. He also acknowledged some imperfections in the stamping itself. Since then, we have had 3 professionals come out to give us their opinion and all 3 have said it needs to be torn up and redone. We said this to *** and he said he would not do that; we are not satisfied with the remedy he is offering. We have given him $9,200.00 in total and at this point we are looking for a refund. we have pictures, videos and copies of the checks (we are sending a pic of one check) we gave him. The pictures will show uneven stamp patterns, patterns in wrong places, sloppy finishing work, dried concrete on new fence and house, sloppy crooked saw cuts, entire driveway is wavy, sloppy concrete sealing, driveway cracked in less than 12 hours after done, there are other issues that I can't explain. If you could please help us resolve this, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time, **** ****
