    I completed a Phlebotomy course with Ms.S********* back in July of 2023. Since then I’ve never received my credentials for the completion of my course and whenever I contact her about receiving the credentials there is always an excuse.

    Ms. ******* attended and completed Rescuing Hearts training program in July of 2023. Ms ******* was issued a course completion certificate in July of 2023. In August of 2023 Rescuing Hearts training program owner ordered and received a certification for the course she completed. Ms ******* was told several times to call and schedule a pickup date and time for her certification. Rescuing Hearts owner has spoken to Ms. ******* several times and both parties have had scheduling conflicts when trying to schedule a pickup date and time. Since receiving this complaint Rescuing Hearts owner has reached out to Ms.******* and emailed a digital copy of her certification to her on 4/10/24. Ms. ******* responded to the email with a date and time that she is available and did not give the owner of Rescuing Hearts a chance to respond with availability in efforts to coordinate a pickup date and time that would work for both parties. Ms. ******* blocked emails from Rescuing Hearts and there has been no communication since then.

    Rescuing Hearts will not issue a refund for services rendered. Ms. ******* completed the course and has received detailed information several times on how and when to schedule a pickup date and time for her certification. Ms. ******* also signed a contract on the first day of class that states there will be no refunds for students who have completed the course. 

    Rescuing Hearts training programs have been established since 2017 and all students who have attended and successfully completed any programs at Rescuing Hearts have received certifications. Rescuing Hearts training programs has a high success rate and would like to maintain good standing with all students. There would be no reason or gain for the program to hold or keep any students certification for any reason. Rescuing Hearts would like to resolve the issue and will wait to hear back from Ms. ******* to schedule a pickup date and time.

    I am rejecting this response because: Since completion of the course I have reached out to Ms. S********* on numerous occasions in regard to picking up my certificate. Her communication was very inconsistent, as she would not always respond or answer my calls. Each time we set a date and time for me to pick up my certificate, Ms. S********* would ask to reschedule and then never respond to set up another date and time. I have not blocked any emails from Ms. S********* or Rescuing Hearts. In fact, I did not receive any emails from her or anyone regarding my certificate until after this complaint was made. The intent behind this complaint is to expose unprofessionalism as well as to receive what I paid for. I paid for a course and a certificate and only received the course, that does not equal completion of the service that the contract stated would be received. Rescuing Hearts withholding my certificate for this long period of time has been a significant inconvenience to me because I have not been able to practice as a phlebotomist without it. Taking this course was suppose to be an advantage not a disadvantage. It is absurd that the only way I could get a consistent response from Ms. S********* from the time I completed the course until now, is by filing this complaint. Regardless of how many years the business has been operating, not one person should have to go through this.
