My group was disgusted today (6 July 2024) as we supposedly sailed on the Spirit of Baltimore's Gospel Brunch cruise, hence my 1-star rating and a refund for the 2 tickets I purchased.
    - The process to get on the boat was disorganized. The groups were mixed up and he bag check was confusing.
    - The second level is not ADA compliant. People on canes and walkers had to walk up ~15 stairs.
    - The cruise scheduled for 12 PM - 2 PM was only 1 hour as we returned to the dock at 1 PM due to safety issues with the boat's engine. The captain should have known there was an issue before we boarded the boat. I believe they only left the dock so they could say the boat criused at noon.
    - The TVs did not work. The staff tried to fix one of them when we boarded. They were not successful. That should have been resolved before we boarded.
    - Based on the boat design, people can't see water out the windows due  to high windows sills unless you stand.
    - On a day when the temperature was over 100 degrees, the air conditioning did not work on second level. Patrons were sweating just sitting still.
    From an acoustics perspective:
    - Those speaking on the microphone were muffled.
    - The singing was initially too loud, but that was solved when the microphone and speakers blew. We waited 30 minutes for the speakers to be fixed. We finally gave up and decided to leave..
    - The second artist did not perform before we left the boat.
    The only positives were:
    - Our server, Unique was amazing,
    - The artist we had opportunity to hear had a great voice and
    -  The food was good.

I Planned a special Father's Day and birthday gift for my dad by booking a Baltimore Father's Day Signature Dinner Cruise on the Spirit of Washington for Sunday, June 16, 2024. I bought 4 entry tickets and a signature cocktail pass for 4 cocktails, spending a total of $708.12 for myself, my dad, my little brother, and my 13 year old son. I had high hopes for the cruise, especially since I had enjoyed a previous experience on the Spirit of Washington at the DC location. However, upon boarding the yacht in Baltimore, I was disappointed by its condition. It appeared quite old, with noticeable patches and watermarks on the ceiling, dirty walls, a peculiar rotten smell, worn-out furniture, and an overall underwhelming ambiance. Despite this, I tried to keep a positive outlook for the evening.
Throughout the cruise, we encountered numerous service issues. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and had to juggle multiple responsibilities, resulting in long wait times for our drinks. We even ordered additional drinks that never arrived, wasting the drink tickets.
The dinner itself was also unsatisfactory. The buffet lacked proper food labeling, making it challenging to identify the options. The food quality was subpar, resembling inexpensive and unappetizing offerings. The only appealing item seemed to be the steak, but when I requested some, the server provided only a domino-size minimal portion and made a comment about serving the rest of the yacht.
I wasn't the only one disappointed by the experience. Other guests also expressed their disappointment, forming groups and discussing the condition of the yacht and the service. Regrettably, the experience fell short of our expectations, and we left feeling that the cost did not match the value received. This was especially disheartening given my positive past experiences on the Spirit of Washington at the DC location. I regret not choosing the DC location for this special occasion as I feel as though I wasted my money.
