    Business Response

We provided stamped construction plans for the homes/structure in a timely manner as we have done for 15+ years in business.  Providing plans for the construction of the structure was the original agreement. The plans that we agreed upon for the original proposal have been approved.  Upon review from the county, this project required utility work which we do not design or provide as a service.  The utility work was not known by either party as a requirement prior to commencing the project. When learning that the utility work was required to obtain a permit, we suggested the client to hire a civil engineer.  The client continued to press us to handle the work which we do not generally provide.  We attempted to help by providing the utility plan if he would be able to give us accurate information to the utility locations.  The locations provided by the client were not correct and the plans were not approved.  We are unable to help any further.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: NW2 Engineers responses are incorrect as you will see in the attached paperwork. Part of our contract was to Properly Apply for and Obtain a Building Permit. That is not complete.

NW2 Engineers expressed the work would require additional items that they did not anticipate such as locating the utilities. They communicated this and invoiced me in order to complete this work as "extra" as you will see in the attached email. You will also find my attached paid invoice for this fee on the same date as the email to request these funds for the "extra" work. This is also not completed.

All I have is rejection emails for the application NW2 Engineers submitted to Baltimore County Permit Office.

Remedition for me, is for NW2 Engineers to complete the permit application or refund all monies paid for their incomplete service.

    Sincerely,
