      The business entered information incorrectly on my mother's death certificate. I reached out a year ago and was never contacted. Life happened and I was able to follow up about 3 weeks ago. I went to the business and returned 2 death certificates in order to get the corrected ones sent to me. Tiffany advised she sent them 2 weeks ago, however, I never received them. She then advised me to go to vital records to request new ones. I do not feel it appropriate to ask me to pay for something I already paid for and was more than patient in waiting to receive. I was not going to continuously drive to Baltimore for a mistake that should have never happened. The wrong county is listed for her residency and they insisted on having the originals in order to get a replacement. At this point, I do not care if someone has to hand deliver them to me. I would appreciate what I paid for and also went out of my way to return as requested. I called again today and I keep getting the run around.

      To whom it may concern,

      Brooks Clinton Funeral Service apologies for the any inconvenience caused to
      you. Vital records require us to return original death certificates to receive
      corrected ones without having to pay an additional fee. Yes, two death certificates
      were put in the mail. According to Ms. ****** she did not receive the mailed death certificates. We gave Ms.
      ****** a couple of options, we stated we could order two new death
      certificates, we would need the originals to switch them out and then Ms.
      ****** could come and pick them up no additional charge, but Ms. ****** didn't
      like that option. We then stated you could order them from Vital records if you
      didn't want to come all the way to Brooks Clinton Funeral Service. We didn't
      want to put them back in the mail because we didn't know if she would receive
      them. To clear this situation up we took Ms. ****** 2 death certificates to her
      house April 12, 2024 and Ms. ****** signed for them. Once again, we sincerely
      apologize for any inconvenience.
