    I am filing this complaint against E W Nelson Home Improvement Inc., **** ***** Door Subcontractor, because the new third floor exterior door installed by this company did not comply with the **** ***** door contract which stated, "...replacement of subsill,” The new sill plate which the installer had brought for the installation was not installed despite the door manufacturer’s recommendation to install a new sill plate. Neither was flashing installed to prevent water leakage.

    Furthermore, this door has leaked three times since its installation on December 13, 2023 when rain leaked through the third floor exterior door to the second floor ceiling and walls damaging drywall on the ceiling and walls. There is also a crack in the drywall above the door which occurred during installation.

    Despite Mr. Nelson’s installer applying additional caulk to the door on
    January 23, 2024, the installation of this door is still an unresolved issue at my property in Baltimore, MD.

    the company was contracted by Home Depot....I had doors installed on September 9,2022 There are alot of mistakes with the work done...I have called them repeatedly to come and fix the problem. When I call they tell me they are waiting for Home Depot to send materials needed...I called Home Depot (Chris)says they no longer have any responsibility in the matter. There are a lot of problems with the install.

    the company E.W. ****** came out to my location and completed all of the necessary repairs that needed to be done...I am satisfied with the repairs that were done.
