    Work began the end of July. There was a leak from the shower pan that caused damage to the ceiling below. Also caused mold in both 2nd floor bathrooms separation of shower pans from wall, cracked tiles, saturated drywall causing mold and weakened floor joists. Majority of the ceiling of the first floor was removed. The master bathroom was completely gutted. At that time, it was observed that floor was also damage in the hall bath that backed to the master. Everything had to be removed although they did not remove the tub. There were a few shattered tub tiles caused by Otinga when working on master bath. The floor in the master as shown in the pictures is not even. When the shower was first installed the faucet was not installed correctly causing only burning hot or freezing cold water dispensed. A razor blade left on shower flower. I have a child that this posed danger to. The new vanity & sink have chips, the shower faucet was damaged with caulk blocking water from coming out. Grout splattered on walls. The shower door is faulty. trim inside messed up. Shower door leaks causing huge puddles on the floor, and it is not a proper choice for the small space as it is very difficult to get in and out. there is a tile that is a different style then the rest. The tiles uneven &grout has holes, door threshold not grouted. Hall bath: wall behind vanity not painted & shows water damage, tile not grouted to wall (see pics). Paint very sloppy & not complete Ceiling in master damaged by painter & never repaired. Ceiling in living room where fan is has hole & ceiling drywall was fully replaced by contractor ceiling fan not properly installed See pic switches & doorknobs painted bc no tape prior to paining. Paint on carpeting master & stairs. Wood floor damaged. Contractor disappeared w/o completing. Paid $17k of $22k demanded more money to finish. Did not come for 10 days demanded $, pd $2k as good faith, came one day didn't finish. Very rude, lies threats court

    LC 10/18/2022- Business advised during call that he maintains the information that was filed in the ethics complaint filed against the consumer.

    Otinga failed to complete the job. On their last day that they were at my house they left at 2 pm and took all of their tools. Mr. Garcia advised that they would be returning the next morning at 8:30 am but they never appeared. I have water again coming through the dining room wall. I had another contractor come and the water is coming from the shower pain that Otinga was to have remedied. Everything stated within Mr. Garcia's response is not true. Over 2/3 of payments were made. As stated in the contract payment in full is not do until work is satisfactory completed. I have to have the entire bathroom gutted. Otinga did not lay the proper foundation for the floor or shower walls. The floor is slanted. And as shown in the shower pictures, it is a mess. I have spoken to several other contractors and was advised that they work done by Otinga is very poor craftmanship. I will not address the falsities individually as the entire response is untrue.

    We had postponed start dates over a dozen times without compliant, and no consequence/penalty to the consumer. When we found structural damage, we worked with the Home Insurance to get coverage and immediate resolution. The customer took advantage of our patience, diligence and had seen the money from the insurance company for the repairs as a personal windfall for herself. We had a mediator step in to assist, we returned for multiple quality control checks and service, along with Punch list after punchlist. Please review the messages, we finished the job, and were robbed of final payment.Three working families, over a dozen children relying on the income from the business, and Ms.Golaner stole did not care whatsoever.
