      November 19, 2024, at 2pm I was purchasing a bottle of wine clearly marked with their label $16.99 Their cash register registered $54.95.I told them it was their error, and the price as marked should be honored.The manager said no and quickly grabbed the bottle out of my hand. I did not have time to take a photo with my cell phone. She tried to insinuate that the label was placed on it. It was obviously not the case. Then she said something about the "kids' marking it wrong. Then she disappeared with the bottle-i.e. evidence. She absolutely refused to honor the price on the bottle. I thought but do not know that state law in ******** that a retailed has to honor the price as marked. I requested a full refund on what I paid. The clerk said that she did "run" it through. The charge has appeared as pending but not credit yet.

      I immediately asked for a refund of the cashier for the two boxes of cookies and wine which I did not accept, that they charged my credit card $84.08. She said that they would issue a refund. They did not do so. I filed a complaint with the *******************,

      Hello,

      ****** **** purchased a bottle of wine marked $16.95 when scanned price was $54.95. All bottles were marked correctly besides Mr. ************** bottle. He was told the correct price and was offered another bottle at the $16.95 price range. He refused and was demanding to purchase the $54.95 bottle at $16.95. When denied sale of bottle he asked for a full refund. Cashier did so but incorrectly. The refund was made for the full balance of purchases and products returned. The wine was not falsely advertise not sure how that happened. After first being contacted by Mail I had called spoke to multiple representatives and left a message so we could resolve this issue in a timely manner.

      I have not been contacted by the retailer. The bottle of wine in question has not been offered and sold to me with the price as I believe (?) is required by Maryland consumer law. Therefore the complaint should remain open until they sell me the bottle as marked. While I did receive a refund as arranged by the credit card company the refund was not the gist of my complaint. It was their failure to meet their obligation to honor the price on the bottle. Please leave this complaint open until they meet their pricing obligation. It is an unsatisfied complaint
