      On Thursday May 22, 2025 my son had an appointment to receive the Yellow Fever Vaccine. When he arrived to the appointment he was told the cost was ****** for the vaccine. My son told them that when he made the appointment no one told him the cost would be that much and he is 18 ( a recent high school graduate, without a job). The person at the front desk then informs him that he would need to pay in order to get the vaccine. My son declined and left the office. Two hours later he was charged a ***** no show fee. I called and spoke to someone in the office and they stated that he "cancelled" the appointment and they had to charge him. This person then said she could "waived the fee" but she refused to do so. Passport health does not disclose the fee's upfront and they essentially trap customers into paying bogus fees or astronomical vaccine fee's. This is fraudulent and they should be investigated for this practice.

      Complaint is about money, not service!  Mother complains that son is a student and doesn’t have money!  She might want to complain to airline or tour operator, as they have received the lion share of her travel funds.  
      We had to pay a Nurse and Doctor for their time and unfortunately the no show fee doesn’t even cover the time set aside for her son.

      I am rejecting this response because: this is not an acceptable response. They charged a 75 dollar no show fee and my son did show up to the appointment. This company is fraudulent! I’m not sure why they mentioned a tour operator or airline as that has nothing to do with this complaint. Zero customer service & fraudulent charges is why i reported them.

      This business told us that the money we were paying was going to be reimbursed by our insurance, that was a lie.They just want it to take our money, we need at least 50% back

      Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate the opportunity to make this right.

      As acknowledged by the client, this appears to be a misunderstanding. Passport Health does not accept insurance because many insurance providers do not cover travel vaccines as they are viewed as elective.

      We regret that the client came away from their interaction with our team with a belief that Passport Health accepts insurance and that their insurance provider may cover such expenses. To make things right, Passport Health processed a partial refund, which the client accepted.

      I am sure it was a misunderstanding, or the directions were not clear, we were told that we just have to file it with our insurance company and we would be reimbursed. 
      Thank you so much for helping us out with 50%, we truly appreciate it for we are on a tight budget right now. 
      Will this 50% reimbursement come to my bank using my credit card?
