This is to ask about all the landlords and realtors on Zillow. My daughter is looking for a rental property for her and her children. They are currently living with other people. The ones listed on Zillow are charging anywhere from 40 to 50 for application fees and an additional processing fee. I was wondering if this was legal. She has to used the money saved to do this and never gets it back so she is out the money she has saved. What can be done about this? She needs a rental home but how can she afford one when they say if a place is 1300 a month and also say deposit and fees are 1300. Then when she applies thats when they say they want all 3 payments up front. 1st, last and one month security deposit. Alot of them dont even come with a refrigerator. How is she ever going to find a home for her and her children if they keep taking her money and not getting back to her?
