This has been the single biggest waste of money Ive ever fallen for. Im actually embarrassed I gave this company a chance. Facet is a joke. Everything they recommend you can do yourself with basic research. They charge you upfront, give you a checklist, then disappear. No follow-up, no real supportjust radio silence. And the worst part? Theres no refund. Not even within 30 days. Youre locked in, stuck watching your money sit there while they collect interest off you for a full year.Need access to your own cash? Good luck. Transfers take dayswhat used to be instant with my *********** account is now a multi-day wait, all for a pathetic 0.2% increase. Its a scam disguised as financial ************* yourself the time, money, and frustration. Hire a real *** locally for half the price and stay far away from this garbage.

Hi ***** We understand that our member experience team at Facet was able to connect with you directly and help resolve the situation. While we are very sorry to hear that your expectations were not met by our services, we are happy to hear that we were able to resolve the issue.

I signed-up for Facet after hearing about them on a podcast, and doing my own research on the company. I was unimpressed and unsatisfied with their investment advice and strategy, and cancelled my membership after less than a month.
Their "investment advice" included selling all my stocks and moving into ETFs, triggering excessive capital gains. They make no differentiation between taxable, IRA and Roth IRA accounts, and suggested the exact same ETF and allocations in each account.
After cancelling, I was told by email that a "Member Experience Specialist" would reach out before my membership ended. I was never contacted, and continued to receive auto-emails from my "Lead Planner" about their new "Facet 2.0" despite cancelling.
I paid $1750 in fees and received little value. I am glad I did not pay the full $6000 membership fee upfront. This is not acceptable for a fiduciary, or for any company to not follow up as promised.
I gave an extra star because their online platform does let you easily aggregate your account information in one location.

Company charged $4800/year for a minimal amount of work. Promised an on-call financial advisor who could advise us on our "advanced" financial issues, and did not deliver. First advisor left the company. Second advisor had a long lead-time to schedule appointments (one month or more). Could not provide more than basic information and no real advice. The planner could not get the online platform to display accurate information. Very disappointing and costly. Do NOT recommend. Cancelled after six months.

We signed up for an additional 3 months of advice for $600.00. At our first meeting the advisor did not show for the meeting. We waited for the meeting and when he didn’t show, contacted the company and asked them to return our money.
After speaking to the representative and getting the run around (they had to prove the advisor actually blew us off) he agreed after speaking to “his people” to return our money and said it would be about 5-7 business days. It has now been 7 business days and the money is not back to our account. I would give them grace of time but after reading these reviews I suspect extra time won’t matter.
We would like our money returned as promised by this company. We would also like the information we have already purchased that is now blocked to us. Per other requests they have released this information in the past and there is no reason why they should not give it to us as it rightfully belongs to us.
    Thank you,
    Tracy and Scott P*******

Facet cancelled our contract in the middle of its one-year term. They raised their rates for existing customers and said we could either pay the increase or cancel our account. When we ended up cancelling no one reached out to tell us anything about what to do with our account information and I had to message them to ask. Such a shame since we were happy with our service up until they decided they didn't have to honor our signed contract.

I wanted to put $85,000 into investments and contacted Facet Wealth. I was definitely sold a bill of goods by Cody, in customer service. He told me that it was very customer driven and that I could add my accounts to their platform or just get advice from a certified financial planner. I wanted a certified financial planner because I've heard they have your best interests and don't make a profit off of you. My first planner was impatient with me because I was having trouble with my new computer getting on zoom. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I talked to her twice on the phone and she just kept getting more grumpy and condescending. I asked for a different cfp and was referred to Cindy. she was nice at first. Her goal seemed to be to get me to put all of my personal financial information into my account on facet. Not just the money I wanted to invest but my bank account my credit cards etc. I explained to her I did not have a balance on my credit cards and I didn't want to take time to put all that information in. I'm 62 and don't need a babysitter for my budget. Then she wanted to see my insurance documents. I told her more than 3 times that I didn't need help with my insurance. I just wanted to invest this money so that it could grow as I don't have 401k etc because I've been self-employed. For the investment part she was very close mouthed on her plans and didn't seem to want to include me on it. She just asked me how much risk I wanted on a scale of 1 to 10. I said five. I wanted to do dollar cost averaging because I always heard that was a great way to invest as you could stretch it out over the markets ups and downs. She just flat out said no. I put some of the money in and then she just invested it with no discussion. All it's done is lose money. And whenever I asked about it, she just avoided the my question, and said she doesn't want to look at hers either. Then she sent an email asking for my insurance info. So infuriating. I cancelled. Beware
