      I requested a withdraw from my 401 account December 10th as I needed money for a mortgage payment. Today is the 27th and I still haven't received. I got charged $30 to send via wire to my bank then when I figured out money was returned was then promised I would have no later than Dec 18th as being sent via FedEx and to this date I haven't received my money. I feel they should refund me the $30 they charged plus late fees and returned fees I had to pay. Every single one of their employees gave me different information as I contacted them numerous times

      Received a letter from T Rowe Price dated March 13, 2024 to update my address in their system (although the letter was sent to the correct address). Within the letter it states if the address is not updated within their system, the account and all monies within the account would be sent to the State Department of Unclaimed Property. As per the representative March 20, 2024, the funds were sent to the state on February 16, 2024 (a month earlier than the letter is dated). In checking the unclaimed money/property site, the money is not there in my name. Where is the money??

      I recently had a negative experience with T.RowePrice's customer service that raised concerns about their procedures for protecting personal information, customer service procedures to unlock a 401K account, poor transparency, and unreasonable requests for personal information. Although I provided information including name, address, SSN, DOB, the start date with my employer, etc., which matched on T.RowePrice's records, T.RowePrice still requires additional personal information to get my online account unlocked. At the same time, it does not provide a secure way to protect personal information from leaking as its process indicates sending over all these legal documents, SSN name, address, SSN, DOB by regular mail. Also, it requests using notarization processes to unlock my online account. This proved to be a challenge for a simple issue like logging into my online account.
      The website requires the use of an authenticator app, which is linked to my company email and verificaiton. Although the codes generated correctly from authenticator app, when I tried to use the codes, the T.RowePrice website did not accept them, denied access and locked my account. They simply stated that my identity could not be verified without additional documents and procedures and requested me to provide them including court documents.
      The customer service representatives did not provide any explanation for why the information I had already provided including name, address, SSN, DOB, the start date with my employer, etc.,was not sufficient to verify my identity. T.RowePrice fails to provided any transparency about how they will protect my additional personal documents. For me, mailing them by regular mail is not sufficient to keep my personal information secure. T.RowePrice dismisses my concerns and my right as a client. This makes me worry about how well my personal information is being protected. This lack of transparency and poor attitude towards providing service is unacceptable.

      I will never invest in any 401 k for the rest of my life. My previous workplace changed my home address which triggered their system and made it where I could only get a check mailed to me instead of direct deposit. I had to fax over my personal information after calling many times to understand to process on how to get my money back. The representatives were cold, rude and often sounded like the were from another country I could barely understand them. My husband got into a car wreck and I had to call many many times over the last month. They promised that if I included a voided check they would direct deposit it. Well they didn’t. You are just another number and getting your money back while you are in need will prove to be very difficult. They are evil.

      I have dealt with T. Rowe Price for over 5 years now and all I get is **** and misinformation that has cost me thousands. Don't invest your time or money with them because they will only s**** you over. And then just apologize that they will work on getting their employees all on the same page. When it's funny that I spoken with more then 4 different representatives and they then all give me the same information but it's only wrong once the company has already screwed you over. It ridiculous and I will never invest with them ever again and neither should you.

      This company is a big scam. I received a mail from them saying they will deduct 6.5% out of my salary every month for my retirement plan. I called them the same day and said no I don't want to be with you. Do not deduct any money out of my CV rock. And do not enroll me in the annual increase. Deduct 0% unless I call and say otherwise. They said okay it's done. The month after I get a letter in the mail says that it has changed to 4% every month, I call them again they say I see it was 0 but now it's 4%, I told them I haven't called to change it 4 why did it change of course they had no answer and again said it was changed to 0. Well this time I recorded all the phone calls, and if a dime was deducted out of my paycheck or they changed it at anytime without me gcalling and asking them to do so, I'll sue the living **** out of them then j expose them all over social media. Stop scamming people. I promise you, you can't handle a lawsuit from a lawyer with all the evidence I have on you. This is my last warning.

      I would not recommend to have your retirement set up here. Customer service is not helpful at all and it feels more like a scam than anything. I have other retirement accounts and non of them give me as much trouble as I have gotten every time I have called to deal with issues. No one can seem to verify me but yet they receive my contribution every two weeks and will not give me information on my own account. I feel as if I am being scammed by this company.
