    The Vocation Depot, a Disabled Veteran operated 501(c)3 engaged **** Hamilton to provide grant writing services. She required a $5,500 retainer. She never delivered on any of the services and has not responded to numerous forms of communication to include, texts, phone calls and emails. The agreement was entered on March 1, 2023: . Description of Services. Beginning on March 1, 2023, the Consultant will provide the following services as laid out in the Scope of Work (collectively, the services) in Appendix A: ************************* Compliance, Grant Sourcing, ********************* Project Costing, Proposal Submissions. Furthermore, the Consultant has the right of control of how the Consultant will perform the services. The Recipient does not have this right of control over how the Consultant will perform these services. 2. Payment for Services. The Recipient will pay an initial retainer of $5,500 compensation via Project Based invoices on the agreed rate of $85/hour sent to the client monthly, to the Consultant for the Services in the amounts listed below and payment will be made as follows: Milestones & Payment Amounts: - Administrative Retainer Due upon approval and Signature of the Consulting Agreement $5,500.00.- Project Based Invoices on Scope of Work Deliverables Due on submission of Invoices sent Monthly. - Project Base Invoice Final Invoice Due Upon Completion of Scope of Work ******************** Calculation of hours at a rate of $85/hour. - An 8% late fee will be applied to all overdue invoices past 7 days after the due date.
