      Paid to park my car in a parking garage. Left it in there until 2:50 AM. The garage was closed @2:30. Came back today and no one was letting us in. There was a very uncooperative security guard who wouldn’t even let the police speak with her supervisor. Overall a very unfortunate and unfair situation. There was about 10 of us outside attempting to get in the garage. The manager George of the federal parking garage was reluctant to come and open it or send someone. Repeatedly hung the phone up on me in a very rude fashion.

      On 9/30/2023 around 4:30pm, I entered the parking garage at *****************************************. The rate parking rate listed was $5 for one hour, $10 for two hours, and $20 per day maximum. Upon exiting the garage around 6:30pm, my automatic ticket displayed a fee of $75. Upon speaking to an attendant, I was informed that the $75 was "special event" pricing that was in effect due to a nearby game at **********. At no point prior to entering the garage, or after the garage, was there any signage to indicate that this special event pricing was in effect. Nor was there any posted schedule or other information to inform customers of when "special event" pricing would be in effect. To be clear, I was not attending the game and left prior to the start of the event. I think it is unreasonable that customers should enter the ********************** without warning that their fee could be up to 15 times higher than the stated rate, and I would like to know if it is even legal. Had the true cost of parking at this time been known to me, I would not have used this service. I think it is reasonable that I be refunded my payment, minus the $10 that I expected to pay based upon the stated rates at the facility entrance.
