      I received an email from The Truth about Cancer and within that email was a link to this offer for a book The Secrets of Underground Medicine. Then you listen to this presentation for about 45 minutes to an hour explaining what is in this book and how to get it "free". It finally gets to the end and in order to claim your free book, you need to subscribe to a newsletter "Natural Health Response" with Dr. ******* ********* M.D. They offer you 3 choices, a lifetime subscription for $199, a year long subscription for $89 or a 6 month for $79, but a 20% discount if you are a veteran or over the age of 60 years old. I chose the 1 year subscription with a discount. I entered my credit card info and submitted it, but my gut said something was wrong. So I called the customer service line and said I wanted to cancel it. I received a charge of $74 on my credit card for the 1 year subscription but the customer service *** said my refund would be $73.83. I called customer service back but I was on hold for over 25 minutes. The same *** I spoke to told me there was no $74 charge, only the $73.83 charge. I specifically asked the *** if my credit card and all info would be deleted since I canceled the order and I was told it would be deleted. She was hesitant to answer. I want to know why they charge you $74 then reverse it and then charge $73.83. I do not want the subscription nor anything to do with this company.

      Hello,

      We apologize for the confusion. When you purchased a one-year subscription for $68 (after discount) our system ads an "estimated state sales tax" of $5 while the order is processing, which brought your total to $74 while it was pending. Once your order was confirmed, our system calculated the total with North Carolina sales tax at $73.83 and this is the amount you were actually charged. The $74 total was only while the order was pending and your credit card was never actually charged this amount.

      Please rest assured that with the subscription fully cancelled and refunded, your credit card details are not stored anywhere in our system beyond the last four digits and the card type, simply as a point of confirmation for where the refund was sent. We do not retain your credit card number or anything actionable whatsoever.

      They took money from my Discover card and I didn't ok it but the say I did but I didn't. Ive used this company for about 4 years now and have never ok'd them to take money from my acct of the Discover card.Ive always stopped the auto and they are saying I didn't. Thats not so. I sent the filters back promptly as they said and its been over a month. The amount is *****. Ive asked them via email twice and by phone 1 time. It was due to be in my acct on the 21 of this month. June *****

      We see that you ordered our Turapur Pitcher system in February of 2019. Since that time, you received a new set of filers once a year at a cost of $86.09. We have no record of a request for refund prior to this year, which came in May.

      We have issued you a refund in full for the most recent filter shipment in the amount of $86.09. This will be returned in the next 3-5 business days to the credit card you used to make the original purchase.
