    On July 12, 2024 in the early afternoon I met with ***** ******, a representative of the Dream Tree Service LLC to look at some pines that needed to be pruned and a few dead trees cut down. He provided a price and then said he needed a deposit which I was reluctant to do as he would only accept cash or check. I told him I would ***** this to him. We set the service up for around 12 on Monday. On Sunday early afternoon I contacted him via email relating that at this time we were not going ahead with the service as we had a lot of expenses with getting our home ready for move in and would like to do it later. His response was OMG, you can't do that . You signed a contract and you actually owe me $250 which I am not returning to you. Well I was really upset and ready the contract and wanted to contact him. He had deleted our text messages totally. I asked for my money to be ****** back to me. He refused. He told me it was all explained in the contract and that is how businesses work. Well I read the contract from top to bottom- it doesn't say anything about requiring a deposit and no less it didn't say an amount. I guess that is why the text was deleted so that he could deny this in the future.. I want my $200 returned to me. There was no service provided and I gave the company a lot of notice.
