    On 2/16/23 I received an oil change at Jiffy Lube #116. On 2/28/23 while driving my vehicle and my 3 young children, my car started smoking and beeping about low oil and to pull over and turn off the vehicle. There wasn't a safe place to do this but we had no choice. My car was smoking and dumping all of the oil out of the vehicle. We called AAA for a tow (a tow would require additional fees based on the location), I tried to reach jiffy lube at the time and they were unresponsive but not closed yet. My mechanic took a look at the oil change completed and noted that the oil filter used was incorrect and the seal was blown out. The oil filter they used was for a 4cyl and my vehicle is a 6cyl. Not only was this incredibly scary and could have severely damaged my vehicle or in an accident but we were stuck on the side of the road and without a vehicle while it was being looked at. I am seeking reimbursement for the initial oil change, repairs, tow, putting my family in harms way and time spent on the side of the road and without a vehicle due to their negligence. I called jiffy lube and they told me to bring in my receipts but this is even more time on my part. Now I spent the time getting a quick oil change, stuck on the side of the road, without a vehicle and then to go back there? This is incredibly inconvenient. I've attached all receipts here; tow, initial oil change, repair of oil change, under car wash/car wash due to oil residue everywhere (this isn't including the oil all over my garage floor from bringing the vehicle home after it was fixed).

    We reached out to the customer, apologized, obtained her receipts and have mailed a reimbursement check for $202.33.
