    Chesapeake Radiology billed me for services provided at the ****************************** in Chesapeake, **. I paid the balance in 2 payments by check. The last check, sent on 9/10/2023, was returned the week of 9/29/2023. I contacted the ****************************** on 9/29/2023 to determine why the check was returned with a letter stating I should now send the payment to PO Box ****** in ******, **. I was also told to call the following number to actually reach Chesapeake Radiology: **************. I called on 9/29/2023 and the person I spoke to stated that they had just taken over billing for Chesapeake Radiology in August 2023. When I asked why patients were not notified of this change, she stated she did not know. I read the payment address listed above in ** and she stated that it was the wrong address to send the payment to. She gave me this address instead: *****************************. I mailed the check, dated 9/10/2023 and containing my account number in the subject line, to this PA address on 10/2/2023. On 11/3/2023, I received this check back in an envelope with a printed stamp return address that says Chesapeake ******** and ************* Nothing else was inside the *********** the meantime, Chesapeake Radiology has sent my account to collections despite failing to contact me or other patients about changes to their medical billing services, addresses, and basic contact information. The ****************************** did not have another phone number for them and the receptionist noted many people have called looking for a way to contact Ches Radiology because they cannot reach anyone either.I want to pay my balance, which is obvious by how long I've been trying to do so. This will be removed from my credit report and any collection agencies as well since Chesapeake Radiology's poor professionalism is why it is unpaid.

    I do not have a copy of the bill.  The copy of the bill was mailed in September and  I did not receive another copy of the bill when the check was returned to me.  In the attached photo, you will see the letter I received from Ches Regional Healthcare and the check I mailed, with a copy of the bill, in September.  As you will see in the handwritten notes on the letter from Ches Regional Healthcare, I was asked to call a phone number to locate the payment address; I called the number on this letter and was told the payment address on the letter is incorrect.  The woman with whom I spoke then directed me to write down the PA address and send payment to that location.  You will also read in these notes that the woman stated her agency or billing service took over payments for Chesapeake Radiology on 8/29/2023.  As directed, I placed the same check in the mail to the payment address in PA on 10/02/2023 along with a letter explaining the above to whomever received the payment.  At this point, I was under the impression that I sent the payment to the correct location and all was resolved.  

    It has been one month and 12 days since I mailed the payment.  I did not receive that same check, returned to me in the mail with no accompanying letter or information or suggestions about what to do to pay the bill, from the return address I stated in the complaint.  I have no other bills or documents to share because I mailed all of them to the supposed payment addresses.
