    Rented indoor unit in July 2022
    Have contacted customer service several times as door to the building was broken leaving the indoor units exposed to the outside elements.
    Called property daily and left messages with no response
    Contacted customer service numerous times and was told a maintenance request was issued. Was also told on several occasions that a manager would contact me.
    I have never been contacted by anyone
    In April 2023 requested lock be cut off of unit as access to the key was not available. I was told I would be contacted to know when the lock was cut to come put a replacement lock on the unit. After several weeks of no contact I attempted several times to call the office to see if the lock had been cut, but my calls were not answered and my messages were not returned. I went to my unit in person yesterday to find that the lock had been cut but I had not been notified and my unit has been left unlocked for an unknown amount of time. I went to the office to address the issue. There was no one in the office and no one answered the door when I knocked or rang the doorbell. I contacted customer service and was told it had been escalated and I would hear from a manager within 24 hours. That time has passed and I have once again not received any contact from anyone at Public Storage

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against Public Storage regarding their inadequate management and maintenance of their storage facility, as well as their unfair and unreasonable business practices.
    I have been a paying customer of Public Storage for over a year, and during that time I have experienced ongoing issues with rodents, cleanliness, and maintenance within my storage unit. Despite multiple attempts to address these concerns with the company's management, I have not seen significant improvement in the condition of the unit or the facility as a whole.
    Furthermore, I have been charged multiple late fees and rent increases, which I believe to be unfair and unreasonable given the ongoing issues I have experienced. I have attempted to resolve these issues with the company's customer service, but my complaints have been met with indifference and unresponsiveness.

    In light of these ongoing issues, I am requesting that Public Storage take immediate action to remedy the situation. Specifically, I am requesting that they:

    Provide a comprehensive pest control solution to address the ongoing rodent infestation within my unit and throughout the facility.
    Ensure that the facility is kept clean and well-maintained, including addressing trash and debris in the hallways and elevators, and improving the lighting and climate control systems.
    Waive all late fees and rent increases that have been charged to my account, and provide a credit for any fees that have already been paid.
    Provide me with a new, clean storage unit on a higher floor, with the same rental rate that I am currently paying. This unit should be free of any pests or maintenance issues, and should be equipped with adequate climate control and ventilation systems.
    I believe that Public Storage's ongoing issues and unfair business practices are in violation of the standards set forth by the Better Business Bureau, and I urge you to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to hold the company .
