      On February 24th 2022 I signed a contract with All sights Travel and put down a deposit with this company to go to the Bahamas. I requested trip insurance to be added to my vacation. As of June 27th my vacation was paid in full. To go to the Bahamas you needed to provide a covid PCR test prior to boarding no more then 72 hours prior. I went in on August 23rd to take my covid test and it came back positive on August 24th. I notified the travel agent ***** Ward right away. She told me I had notified her plenty of time to cancel and get my full refund. That I could cancel up to 3 hours prior to get a full refund. She had reserved our vacation through Southwest Vacations and would notify them right away. She also mentioned the girl I was rooming with would now owe more for that room since I was not going. I told her to please contact her right away and let her know. I was told it would take 5 weeks to get my refund of $930 back for the hotel minus the trip insurance (which is $930), the flights were not refundable but could be used at another time.
      I waited my 5 weeks and on October 3, 2022 I contacted ***** the travel agent to see where my refund was. I was told there was a mistake and the hotel did not collect the balance due for the room and that they do not want to give me a refund even though I purchased the trip insurance. I then contacted the other girl who was going with me and told her to pay her balance for the room so I can get my refund. Her response was no one told her she owed any more and that her trip was paid in full and I needed to contact the travel agency.
      I have reached out to this travel agency weekly to ask where my refund is. Sometimes it takes a few text or emails to get her to respond and all I hear is that Southwest vacations has not responded. Last week she said they approved $334 of the $930 owed. Not sure why there is a difference in what is owed vs approved. However, I only received $167 of that. To date they owe me $763.

      The information Tammy gave is correct, but I still do not have any of my money back, even the $167. I have no contact information for Southwest Vacations and I will gladly contact them and also file a complaint against them as well once I'm provided with that information.

      Here is the contact for Southwest vacations below. We remain on our response as she said it is correct. As to ****** claim she hasn't received her first half of her $167. Please see attachment of ****** showing receipt of her refund for the first $167 text from Oct 25 that she acknowledges receipt on her credit card. This will be our final reply to this case as stated that she will need to file against Southwest Vacations whom they have her money.
