    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/02) */
As a previous employee at Flavor Cupcakery, who has left in 4/2022, and now bake from my home and sell a few orders to private consumers I am being accused of stealing intellectual property from Flavor. However, i am using my own recipes and making items that may resemble items sold at flavor however are also all over Pinterest and the internet, which is where alot of flavors recipes were also obtained. I have since deleted the two photos on my social media that were items i made while i was a employee at flavor and everything thing else posted on my business social media are items that i have made at my own house on my own time with my own recipes. The person filing this complaint is not the owner of the business either. This is a case of pure jealousy that i decided to leave a job i was at for almost 5 years, that i help drastically grow and expand . When i gave my 2.5 week notice to leave, flavor stopped offering all customer cakes, which is my specialty thar i am self taught in previous to working at flavor. The current employees/managers of flavor only have malicious intent behind this. I dont sell my items to the public or at any public location. Any photos on my personal social media that contain items made at flavor, were posted during my employment there and are tagged. Nothing i have made since my employement there is or will be tagged as it is not property of Flavor regardless of if they think i am copying them. Bakeries in general sell the same items, it comes down to whose is better that makes the difference. I was unaware it was wrong to learn from a previous employer to grow yourself and do better. There have been multiple other previous employees who have left flavor and started small home based baking business, offering the same items at flavor, even catering weddings, and flavor has made no attempt to contact them and accuse them of the same i Am being accused of. Therefore that also proves that this is solely a issue they have with me personally and my choice to leave flavor and go off on my own versus a issue with taking intellectual property or copying.

As stated above, the two posts that contained pictures of items i made at flavor have been deleted as flavor requested and all remaining posts are things i have made NOT while being a employee of flavor.

No one claims you cannot take what you've learned here and put it to use, you just can't post OUR pictures and not credit us in them. Thanks! We wish you the best of luck, no "jealousy" here.
