My son was enrolled in daycare at this facility in January of 2022. When he started daycare they helped me apply for child care scholarship, which is financial assistance for low income families. There were some issues with processing my application. While I was waiting for the assistance to go through I was paying full price for my sons daycare. It ended up taking 6 months for the financial assistance to go through, however they back dated my assistance for 3 of those months. I inquired about getting a refund for that money, and was told they would only give me a credit for future copayments, however at that time I had already pulled my son from the program in June 2022, because I could not afford to continue pay full price. The scholarship came through on his last day of daycare, however I had already given notice that he was leaving, and I was told there was a year wait to get him back in. This facility collected the money from the state, and has yet to give me any reimbursement for the money they owe me back, which is over $3000.00. On top of that, when I tried to enroll my son elsewhere I was told by ccs that they still had him enrolled and were collecting money for him all the way until December of 2022. So they have collected $260 every week for my child, who has not been enrolled since June of 2022, on top of being paid double, bc they have refused to reimburse me, from March until June. I would like to be reimbursed for the money that is owed to me.
