On August 4th,2022 at 12:04pm I purchased a 3oz. bag of Premium Royal Farms Peanuts, opened the bag and started enjoying, after a few handfuls out came what looks like a Rat dropping with hair embedded in it. I can't tell you how disgusted I was to find what had come out of the bag that I was eating from. I have been a long-time customer of Royal Farms, for well over 25 yrs., just about every day, getting coffee in the morning, fried chicken for lunch or to take home for dinner, and purchasing fuel for my truck once a week. I just want to bring this to your attention, so that management is aware of this issue, and in hopes that this will be resolved, so that other customers will not experience this in the future.Business Response

On the date of 8.3.22 at approximately 650pm I went into royal farms route 10 dover de and ordered a chicken breast at 379 and after about 4 to 5 minutes 1 of the 2 people that were in the kitchen came out. I told him what I was waiting on he said it would be 5 min still. I asked him well how about if I just get 2 tenders. He said well they are more money. I said ok well I would expect if your only giving me 1 that it would be a nice piece . He picked out a piece about 3 inches long and narrow ..I told him I am not paying 4 dollars for that small of a piece. He said fine by me and pitched the chicken back. I Than went to the register and asked the young girl(prob 18 to 22, the young male was about the same age) where the manager was, she stated we don't have one. I asked the name of the male she declined I asked him his name he refused . I Than told him that he should learn some manners. I Than seen the cashier blantly laughing at me and acting as though things were funny. I asked what the managers name was...she shrugged her shoulders and chuckled. Im not sure how a business can operate with 3 18 to 20 year Olds and not have a Manager on site ....all I asked for was kindness (just kinda explained he can't do that because of the price difference) but Than to be rude and laughing was not cool. Hi my name is **** I went to Royal Farms today in North East Maryland to get lunch I ordered chicken meals with my points I couldn't use my card I had to use my phone witch I had to use the app each thing I bought had to scanned this process is so slow compared to the old way witch was to just swipe my Royal Farms card it must of took 10 minutes just to ring me up. Even the cashier said it was a pain in the **** to ring people up using the app I hope you think hard about changing this method of ringing people up thank you for giving me the chance to saying my peace of mind **** *****Business Response

This case is in reference to an unresolved issue that Royal Farms should have on file as Case Number FB216389.In brief, it appears my account was hacked, points were redeemed, and customer service didn't respond to my concerns about account security. I have attached the emails I received from Royal Farms regarding someone changing the name, date of birth, and a plethora of food and merchandise being redeemed at their store at ******************************************************************************************** when I was physically located in ******** during the time of the transactions. When I realized my data had been breached I changed the password linked to my Royal Farms account. I did this while this person was simultaneously stealing from my account. Unfortunately, despite changing the password, the person continued wiping out my account in real-time. The following rewards were redeemed at one visit on July 9th, 2022:1 - 10 piece dark chicken for 400 points, 1 small mac and cheese for 125 points, 1 any size fountain drink for 50 points, 1 small western fries for 50 points, another small mac and cheese for 125 points, 1 "ChickenPalooza" ******* for 150 points, another fountain drink for 50 points, a coffee for 50 points, a "Happy Birthday special" for choice of 2 white, dark, or tender chicken, and another fountain drink for 50 points.Customer service fell short as well. As you can see in the email they asked if I knew anyone by the name that changed my account. I clearly didn't and made it known. The next response I received was canned and they asked if they could be of further help. I wrote them back and they didn't respond. So, here we are. My desired resolution is to ensure my account is secure, my information is correct, and I want all of the points that were redeemed restored back to my account via store credit, maybe throw in some coupons, and a t-shirt. Also, might want to follow up with the customer service rep that blew me off on that second email leading to this BBB complaintBusiness Response

Looking through your original inquiry, it appears that someone named ************************* also shares a device with you. Is it possible that this person has access to your account login? The reason we ask is that points can only be redeemed if the person requests to redeem the points via signing into that account. If it was not you that redeemed your points, it would have had to be someone who had access to your email and login information. Please let us know once you have had a chance to review.

My response to Royal Farms Support Team: No, I do not know anyone by that name nor have I given anyone access or login credentials to my account. Someone in customer service asked if I knew this person but the spelling was slightly different. Also, the emails I attached to my complaint listed someone named *****************************. I never saw a ************************* or *****. Whoever did this must have acted very quickly because from the time I was alerted to a name change to the time they began redeeming points they were still in the store redeeming. The first date your points were used was July 8th and the last day was July 14th. The only way someone would be able to access your account is if they had your email and your password.
