    On 7/28/2023, I agreed to paying $1,896.00 for a charter bus service. On the delivery date of service, their bus broke down resulting into a downsize of the transportation from a charter bus to a van. On the day of service, 7/29/2023, I spoke to the senior sales manager, ***************************, who agreed to a refund due to the downsizing. On 7/32/2023 I sent an email to ****** with the following verbiage. I received the below receipt for the bus showing a service fee of 4% in the amount of $75.84. We agreed upon a 2% service fee in the amount of $37.92 with a credit of $180.00 for the cash payment paid to the driver. This should bring my total to $1,753.92. How can we resolve this? My credit card was charged already for $1,971.84. Should I expect a credit for the difference in the amount of $217.92?****** responded the same day apologizing for the error and overtime stated theyre looking into the error. After a delay of response, I got in contact with **** on 8/30/2023 who agreed to send a check in the amount of $271.92. I was texted by **** a copy of a written check on 9/25/2023 but have yet to receive it. After many unsuccessful attempts to get this resolve, it has lead me to contact the BBB for assistance in recovering the agreed refund of $271.92.

    I signed a contract on Feb. 14, 2023 with Bus Charter Express for shuttle service on May 12, 2023 for my daughters wedding. I used one representative named ***************************** for all contact. I wired $315 from my bank on Feb. 13,2023 to the company. I contacted ******* again on May 2, 2023 and sent the remaining $735 via credit card payment to him directly with a payment form. I spoke to ******* on the phone and he said I was all set. On the wedding day, no bus showed up for our guests. I tried calling ******* but his phone disconnected my call. I called the bus company and they said that ******* no longer worked at the company and that he did not process the final payment or the paperwork. The man I spoke to assured me that I would have a bus for the return trip as our guests were stranded at the venue. He said he would correct the mistake but no bus ever appeared.
