    On April 28, I visited this business for the first time. The owner and another woman greeted me and showed me various appliances the had. I explained that I was doing a home renovation (creating a sublet apartment). I explained I was not ready for the appliances). The owner explained that if purchased today he would hold the items until I was ready for them. I agreed after explaining it would be several weeks and he restated that as long as I paid for them , he would store until I was ready. At the time I thought a friend of mine could pick the items up when ready. I gave him the name of the person . I paid with a debit card ($1060 for a stove a refrigerator) and he gave me a copy of the receipt. I later learned my friend could not pickup the refrigerators . So I returned to the store on June 8 to make arrangements to have the items delivered and to about purchasing another item . The owner first acted as if he was not aware of the purchase but I was able to show the purchase from my banking apps. He then indicated that he believes some one picked those items up. I assured him that I did pick these nor did anyone on my behalf . Despite being to prove *** purchase, he reported he was not going to honor that because he believed some had picked it up. I asked for proof of that but he had no proof. It refused to honor my purchase.

    Compliant Issue;

    Purchased a new ******* Washer & Dryer, the washer recently had a recall (Model # **************)

    The MFG. ******* has an update for the machine but you have to have the serial number,
    the serial number has been removed from the all the locations on the washer.

    Therefore, the machine cannot be updated. ******* requested that the machine should not be used because of a chance of a fire and permanent damage to the washer.

    I have tried to get the serial # but to no avail (I also noted that there is no serial #'s on any of the appliances or items that they were selling in the store)

    I am looking for help to get the serial # or return the machine. For one that does not have the recall issue.
