      During the first week in August of 2023, my vehicle was taking into this business for a tint job of my natural windows meaning no tint was on them. I asked for 35% tint even using the term legal tint in accordance to the state of Maryland’s acceptable guidelines. Upon leaving and picking up the vehicle, it was mentioned to the staff the tint looked darker than the percentage requested but was assured it was 35%.., after having it checked by two state inspectors, I learned the tint is 29% and 33% on the windows and illegal in the state of Maryland. I was advised to remove it. I called back to this business, I spoke with a staff person who identified herself as one of the managers but kept giving me different names.., she was very rude, and nasty to me even hung up the phone and later I received another call back from her on her personal cell phone to continue rude and unprofessional behavior. There was never any resolution offered to me although, at no time did I ever ask for any money back. I am beyond unsatisfied with this company as I now have to pay just as much to have the tint removed by another company. The level of disrespect and unprofessional behavior I received should never be accepted in any business who deals in customer service of the public. I was a returning customer bringing business back to them only to be treated like my business was not appreciated and for that I will never use their services again. I want to be made whole on any expense I endure going forward from this deceptive tint job I received from this company.

      Hi I would like the amend the original request to correct the amount listed for payment of the tint job I inadvertently wrote $120 as payment when I shouldve list it to be $132.50 is actual the amount paid. If this refund request is honored, I want to be correct on actual payment the company received of for the job!

      Hello Good Afternoon,
      I have called and left a message as we are just receiving this complaint and it states that it has already been closed.

      **** ********* ******** never stepped foot in our establishment. She does NOT know what was discussed between her husband and the installer.

      We first began communication with her husband when we came on 7/23/23 to take care of him on a day our business is closed. *** ***** proceeded to let the Lead window tinter know that he did not want to get 50% on his vehicle and he wanted to get 35% because he did not want to be fish bowl - quoted by him.  He recieved 35% in which he asked for. Below is a copy of the receipt in which he read initialed and signed pior to receiving service.  In the bullets under special instructions - where he read it stated car must go thru inspection prior to installation. It also reads that CCK highly suggests 50% to legal in DC, VA & MD.  His vehicle received what he asked for.  Every car manufacturer already had tint in all the glass of their vehicles that unfortunately we are just not aware of so to avoid any tint reading to be off by a few numbers we strongly suggest the 50% so you have a little room to play with.

      The husband then contacted us and that was explained to him and what he asked for he then proceeded to hang up. A few days later on a Sunday morning when the business was closed.  **** ******** called very hostile demanding while proceeding to hang up on me not only once but twice and yes I called her back to try to help her with the situation from my cellphone as that is where the landline phones are transferred to.  When she hung up again after not listening to what happened. I knew then that honestly I did not even need to have contact with her as she was not the one that came in nor was serviced.   I then contacted her husband on Monday morning to discuss his issue with the tint and he kindly apologized and said he would call back and never did.

      We work very closely with all our customers we do not play games and we love to keep our customers happy. We would of kindly had discounted her removal of tint that didn’t pass inspection (in which tint typically does not legal or not) that is why it is asked to do inspection prior to tint as we only focus on legal from the state not inspection.  But that would of been us just being kind as they did not follow instructions and we should not be liable or held accountable. We also would of discounted it to put it back on. We have plenty of customers that make their same mistake as they want what they want regardless but we are still willing to work with them.  As you also see her husband signed and dated and it and it states no refund.

      As much as I would love to assist the ******** we were never giving the chance to even get a clear word out. I will not accept the fact that their mistakes have turned into our wrong doing. So no refund is granted to them. If they want us to assist them in any other way then a refund they can KINDLY contact us a have this issue resolved.
