    On Nov., 16, '23 I went to Purls Curls and Girls salon to have a wig sewn onto my hair. They told me that the entire process would consist of a take out of old hair, shampoo, braid and sew in my wig, for $125.00. I agreed. I also told them that as a certified Personal Trainer, the wig must be sewn in tightly to prevent falling off when I was with my clients. I was assured by the stylist it would be done. The next day, when I went to adjust my wig almost the entire wig came off. I called Purls Curls and Girls. No one answered, I left a message. Today,11/20/23, I called, spoke to someone named ******. She asked me to send her pictures, I did. She said they would only return $25.00 back to my account for the resew, or i could come back to them for a redo. I said redo. Then, she asked to call me back. When she did call, she said they would only refund $25.00 to my account and would not have me to come in for a redo. I am very upset with this. I will have to repay another salon for what they did not do for me. This has impacted on my business. I feel I have been scammed and ripped off by this. They need to be investigated. I am asking for $1000.00 for pain and suffering, lost of business and failure of them to complete their verbal agreement and contract with me.

    On November 14, 2023 at approx 1:23pm, **************** walked into the salon and inquired of services provided by the establishment. The salon manager advised **************** of all services and provided her with a price list. **************** stated that she just wanted her hair braided down and her current braids removed so that she can slide on her wig. **************** then scheduled a service appointment for November 16, 2023. On November 16, 2023, **************** arrived at 1:00pm for her scheduled appointment of a take out $40, wig braid down $50. **************** was immediately serviced by the assigned stylist and escorted to the salon floor to remove braids in her hair and washed and shampooed. Upon returning from the shampoo bowl, **************** asked the stylist how much extra would it cost to sew down the front of her wig as the stylist advised that she would only charge $25 to sew down only the front as it is not a complete sew in installation. **************** agreed and the stylist completed the service. **************** proceeded to the receptionist to pay the total amount of $132.00 (take out $40, wig braid down $50, front sew $25, credit card fee $3.22, Tip $10). On November 22, 2023, **************** called the salon at approx 11:18am to advise her wig came off her head after receiving a full sew in from the establishment. **************** asked to send pictures of her hair so that the issue could be resolved after explaining that a full sew in was not performed and further clarified the charges as all charges ala carte and receipt sent to **************** not to mention the email and text confirmation sent to **************** prior to services confirming exactly what service she is receiving and agreeing too. **************** sent pictures at 7:03pm and a follow up call on the next morning was provided to **************** confirming receipt of pictures and inquired how she wanted to resolve as again she was not charged for a full sew in. **************** advised that she wanted either a full refund or to come in to have her wig sewn down fully. The manager advised her that she will only sew down the front as agreed upon and as paid for or refund her the $25 to which was charged for the front sew in. **************** became irate and demanded to have her wig sew in and again the manager advised her that a full sew in cost is $275 as advertised on the website. **************** began to **** at the manager advising that she will be writing a negative review and demanding results now. The manager advised **************** to call back when she felt as though she could speak respectfully and calmly as the manager was not going to continue to allow **************** to curse and yell. **************** called back approx. an hour later asking for what was going to be done about the issue and again the manager advised that we will either refund the $25 or she can come in to have the front sew in. **************** stated that the establishment was a complete rip off and the manager responded advising **************** that the refund in the amount of $25 will be issued immediately as continued verbal abuse was unnecessary and not going to be tolerated. **************** agreed to the refund. The manager issued the refund and sent email receipt to **************** at **************************
