      I applaud Kwasi ***** and Mr. Emanuel ****, two outstanding employees of Master Security ***** and **** have successfully collaborated with the Riverside Apartments property manager and police in bolstering security. Riverside (Alexander, VA) was the site of a crime surge in winter and early spring. There were instances of car thefts, car break-ins and vandalism. In a single night, 12 autos were broken into. Riverside seemed to be “ground zero” in a regional crime wave.The property manager quietly implemented a strategy to stop the crime wave. He informed tenants of the makes and models of cars being targeted and suggested they employ anti-theft devices. He dramatically improved lighting of parking lots. He asked police to ccasionally patrol. Master Security employees ***** and Emanuel **** are critical to this strategy. ***** and **** should be recognized for their dedication, diligence and tireless, results-oriented work. They monitor cars entering and leaving the compound, patrolling parking lots, both day and night. They keep the grounds under surveillance. They investigate potential car break-ins and vandalism, suspicious transients and activity, reporting findings. They collaborate directly with police. ***** and **** inspect building service entrances to ensure that they are secure. They also inspect Riverside’s business offices and lobbies of the three apartment buildings to make sure that they are secure, investigating further if necessary. The property manager’s security strategy has succeeded. He appears to have ended car and auto parts thefts, as well as car-related vandalism. He succeeded with the assistance of the police, Master Security and its two outsanding employees, ***** and ****.They are enacting many aspects of the property manager’s strategy, under his supervision. Riverside is lucky to have these two individuals. They are intelligent, resourceful, and a credit to Master Security.
