    I ordered 3 books thinking they were a different title, ( exact same cover ), and I asked the seller if I could retuen them for a refund and then order the correct book. They said yes. I sent them back, and didn't hear or see anything showing my refund. This was in September. It is now January and I have had several messages through **** requesting the refund, and they message eventually they haven't received it, along with some general automated messages about how I need to tell them when it was shipped, etc. I have done this several times, and have information from **** showing the date and time it was delivered to their address. As of January 12th, I still have no refund.

    I understand the Better Business Bureau's position in this regard. I want to thank you for all of your efforts! AbeBooks finally stepped in and gave me a refund on this. So I'm satisfied with that, but it is unfortunate that book dealers such as Great Book Prices are allowed to exist! Thank you again for your efforts in my regard. Most kind regards, ****.

    Bought a book through ABE books (amazon) and they in turn use this listed place as the seller of the book - I ordered this on July 21 and since then there as been no activity in mailing - I ordered 5 or 6 other books at same time from other sellers and they have all been received - when I contacted ABE books they said they would contact the seller and the seller would respond in two days which they did not - when I informed ABE of this they said to contact the seller directly - which was very hard to find an email - on since using their great price books turns up another company on google - anyway when I let ABEs know I had heard nothing back they said well if you don't hear anything by august 2nd let us know - well gee I am kind of tired of getting the run around from these sellers - they should be held accountable once they take the money out of my account (july 21) and all ABE says is if you don't get nothing by August 22 you will get a refund then - but when you have a brain and you can see nothing is happening with your order they could at least find out = or have the seller do what they are suppose to do which is let me know what is going on with the book I ordered from them - I am done with online books. I am done with amazon - these places wonder why they are sinking ships - well maybe if they actually cared about customer satisfaction - they would have customers that appreciated them and recommended them. they can either send me the book which I have lost all desire to even read now after all this stress - and they can perhaps treat customers with a little more compassion so the customer does not have to waste so much time just standing up for themselves and being treated like dollar signs.

    it is finished - the book arrived - they are a big outfit much too big to be polite and too busy being capitalistic enterprise to take the time to answer some simple questions about one ten-dollar book.

    Like the Titanic they are too big to ever sink - so I have nothing more to say about the place let them go on with there business and I will not trouble them again or ever put myself in a position where I have to ask them anything again -
