      I was a customer in 2021 and my contract ended December 2021. Griffith made a mistake and filled the oil tank after the contract was over (January 22, 2022) which I had signed a contract with Petro. Then, Griffith tells me I owe some large amount of money for the oil. They have continued to bill me and add more money for late fees. It is infuriating that no one ever responds over a year and a half. I have called customer service 3 times and sent 2 emails and no response. Customer service is terrible and the ones they have seem overworked. They are only concerned with their bottom line. I have reported this to Petro also, as they took away what Petro should have done.

      Hello. Thank you for your review, however your automatic delivery program was not tied to your pricing agreement as stated in the copy of your pricing agreement that you confirmed. Therefore, the delivery was made as scheduled and you received the benefit of the fuel. Moving forward as a measure of goodwill, we will be crediting your current account balance due and all associated finance charges. We wish you and your family a happy holiday season.

      We have had a call in to Griffith Energy's Southern Maryland Oil service hotline for over a year. We have yet to get a resolution and since October 2, we have had only one response from the company despite calling every other day or so. The phone representatives are sympathetic and promise to return to us with a resolution by the end of the business day, but evidently, they cannot force Ken F******, the Supervisor for our area, to return our calls or send out a service person with adequate skills to resolve the problem. We sit with a hole in our drywall from where he said to remove it to gain access to a damper, yes, for a year. And in the meantime, our furnace heats up unused areas while leaving no heat in the living areas because of a stuck damper. We try to escalate, but cannot get ANYONE to respond to us. Meanwhile, we waste propane and increase electricity use in order to get through. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

      I have read the below reviews and have to agree with everything that has been said. I have been calling since July to get my oiler burner serviced and it is still not fixed. Two times no one showed up. I have a protection plan and they are not honoring their plan. Today I called to verify I have someone coming out. I was told I did not, and was hung up on. I called back and was told I do have an appt. some of the people that answer the phone are very nice but the service is horrible. I could go on and on but really what is the point. If i could give this company a zero star I would. The one star is for the employees that have to deal with irate customers and still keep their cool.

      We called because they had originally put in our new furnace. When we turned on the heat due to chilly nights it would not ignite. There was a service fee to come look at the issue. The service man said it was a bad valve and he would have to order it. The part came a week later.I took off work because I was given a time frame of 12 -4 which he did not show up until 530 pm. He went down stairs fixed the valve. He was here for almost an hour. The part cost 157.00 dollars we were charged a total of 881.00 for the repair. The service worker said he would email a receipt that we never received . I called today and asked for an itemized receipt I was told they do not provide those. They also stated you are told the cost before they do the work . I told them we were not he finished the job and asked for a check. I explained that I have now called other providers for this service that stated this was ridiculous. I will continue to try to continue to reach out to the VP Randy G**** or the owner Scott H*****. So the almost one hour he was here a non emergency visit was 620.00 for labor. I will make sure I reach out to consumers as well on linked in as a work for a very large employer. Do not receive services from this company

      We appreciate the feedback, however we respectfully disagree with the information as listed.
      We did not install the ***** Gas Furnace.
      Our service technician did provide the estimated cost to repair the system and we were given the direction to proceed with the repair, The system was repaired.

      Originally, they had installed it. They were called for a repair the technician came for a service fee. He said it was a bad gas valve on the heater. He said he would order it. He came back a week later the following Friday. He did not discuss the cost of repair, (the part was 164.55). He fixed it then asked my husband for a check for 774.00. He told my husband he would email the receipt which he never did.
      I called and was told they do not send itemized receipts. When I discussed that the entire balance was 881.00 over six hundred dollars for the technician to spend less than an hour at my home was insulting. He stated no companies will give you an itemized receipt. I said this was excessive cost, that after this happen, I called some other places and they had replied it was excessive as well.
      I thought the company was reputable. This is poor business, and as I stated the technician never quoted a cost before he installed the valve.

      Just horrible. I can't explain enough how upset I am about the service. I paid thousands of dollars to get air-conditioning and heating installed. One of the systems does not work. I have called many times. Either I get someone and they can't help or no one answers the phone. They had someone come out and they said they need to get a part from the warehouse. It has been months so I said I wanted the unit replaced if they could not get the part. No one has responded. I have asked to speak to a manager. They say they will call back, but no one does. I will probably have to pay another company to get this fixed.
