Beginning the final week of November, 2024, and continuing through today, I have received nearly daily calls, each one from a different phone number, stating that I have submitted a roofing request. I do not nor have I ever owned a home.

In the beginning I would receive upwards of five calls every single day.

I demand this stop, immediately. The contact phone number on the one day roofing “website” if it can even be called that, at the bottom of the TCPA page which must be searched to be found, does not function. A company that is legitimate would not hide terms and conditions, or privacy policies, nor would they hide opt out information and have said opt out process tied to a phone number that does not work.

Every single call has come from a different number, as though this “business” is doing everything in its power to trick a prospective “customer” into answering one of their calls so they can bait them into a nonexistent “repair”

      Hi *******,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We have removed you from our contact list, so you should no longer receive calls from us. If you never submitted a request for a roofing replacement quote, we’re unsure how your information was added, but we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
Our team operates with about 40 phone lines, reaching out to customers who have requested roofing quotes. Again, we apologize for any disruption and appreciate your understanding. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do.

      Thank you,

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ****problems, especially in winter.

The total cost of the roof was $33,649, including $25,000 financed. For this price, I expected quality workmanship and durability, yet I’m left with leaks, damage, and poor attention to detail.

I request One Day Roofing to honor their warranty and:

Fix all leaks (main roof, skylight, and garage).
Repair and repaint the damaged ceiling and walls.
      Level the area causing puddling.
Improve communication and follow-up on warranty claims.

A new roof should not leak more than the old one it replaced. I regret choosing this company and expect them to fulfill their commitments under the 40-year warranty.

At One Day Roofing, we take pride in standing by our work and honoring our warranty, and we’ll do everything we can to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we look forward to resolving this for you.

      Best regards,

Im done wasting my time and you will get more calls im sure.

      *******,

As we discussed on the phone, you are NOT contracted with us to do a roofing project. We sent you the proposal per your request. You did NOT sign anything. We are happy to assist you if you ever do decide to move forward with us but this was merely the proposal but you did not sign it. We apologize for any confusion.

      Thanks,

      ********,

Thank you for speaking with us yesterday regarding the service request for your roof. We understand there was some confusion with the phone number you were trying to reach us on, and we apologize for any inconvenience. We've now given you a direct line to reach us at.

Your service request has been submitted to our warranty department, and they are currently arranging an inspection and service. We anticipate resolving this issue promptly. If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

I recognize this was mainly an issue of not being able to reach us, which looks like has been resolved.

      Thank you,

During the first week of June 2024, oneday roofing started to install an new roof on my property, during installation they added an extra $12,000 to the cost of the roof for more material that was needed. they removed all of the antique crown molding from my home and replaced it with some cheap unpainted wood, leaving large gaps in the home edges. birds and bees have made homes and is destroying the house. there is a hole in the roof where they missed a spot and i can see outside. water has gotten in and caused problems. i warded they that they might have to remove a extra layer of wood . they said no, but they did and caused a major clean up in the attic. the home will need major repair all around. i have sent pictures and have gotten no respones.

      Business Response

      Date: 06/18/2024

During the installation, One Day Roofing added $5,260 to the project cost, rather than $12,000. This adjustment was necessary due to the need to replace the entire roof's plywood and fascia. The original wood decking was not up to code, featuring approximately 3-inch gaps between each of the 1x6s that were previously installed. Additionally, the roof had three layers of asphalt shingles and one layer of cedar wooden shingles, which exceeds the building code limit for the number of layers.
According to the contract pricing, the additional wood and labor for removing the excess layers would have cost well over $12,000. However, One Day Roofing provided a discount to help the homeowner as much as possible. Due to the gaps in the wood planking and the presence of 100-year-old cedar shingles, some debris did fall into the attic. This issue was discussed on the day of the project, and the customer emphasized that he simply wanted the job done correctly and he understood the debris in the attic was due to the code issues with his roof.
