    On August 20, 2022, my son and I came to the Columbia, MD Skyzone location. Upon arrival, we signed up for a membership as we had previously had good experiences. However, during our trip, the tarp on the foam pit (on the second floor) started separating, and my son's entire leg fell through the tarp. If it was not for my quick action, my son would have completely fell through and landed head first into the cement below. My son is 3 years old; it was absolutely terrifying for both of us, and there were plenty of witnesses around. The Skyzone employee who was overseeing the safety in the area had been moving the tarp around leading up to the incident (I recall specifically because I thought it was strange). When we reported it to the front desk, they (including the manager on call that day) immediately ran to close down that area. I requested a refund for our day and a cancellation to our membership given our horrible experience and the liability we were subjected to. The employee at the desk agreed immediately and took down our name and membership number. I had thought it was processed and taken care of, so we could move on and never had to think about this nightmare again. However, upon reviewing my credit card statement today, I noticed a charge from Skyzone on 11/20/22 totaling $39.58. I then went back through my credit card history, and realized I have been charged every month, including the original day of the incident on 8/20/22. Please see below the entire list. I contacted the company on 12/5/22 but did not hear back and was charged again subsequently. I contacted the company again on 12/28/22 and still have not heard back. I am deeply disappointed in the lack of safety, and now the fraudulent charges to my account. Please refund the amounts as originally promised, and contact me at ************************* when it has been completed. If I do not hear back within 2 weeks, I will have no choice but to proceed with filing a formal complaint through my credit card company and other customer protection agencies.
