    In March 2024 we hired MC Fence and Deck Anne Arundel company to install a fence around our property. The job was done quickly and efficiently. We paid $10,300.00 for the job and wrote a glowing review on their website. However few days later the inspection came. We were notified that the company didn't get the permission for the job from the county (as they should according to the contract) and some important rules were broken (ours is a corner house). For the whole year we've been trying to make the company get the permit and redo part of the job according to the rules. We were given a lot of run around. The three female office workers who were responsible for getting the permit promised us to do the job, but were laid off or quit one after another without notifying us. Every time we were patiently waiting for the result which never materialized. The next office worker promised us to get the permit until the end of October 2024. After four months of waiting we finally reached him and he told us his position was "liquidated" two months ago and he didn't know the state of the permit. We checked -- the permit was not issued as the county is still waiting for some additional information. During this time no one from the company bothered to keep us informed how the things were going. Now the company is simply ignoring our phone messages and e-mails.
