    On June 17-20th, 2022 I was hired as a vendor by Lovelight, LLC to provide a food service to 25 attendants at the festival. We agreed to $188 per person making the total $4700. That was what we both verbally agreed upon before the event. I was told by ***, the owner of Lovelight LLC that she would send over a contract multiple times to which she never did. I knew she was in need and was a friend of a friend so I proceeded and invoiced her after the event was completed. She paid me $400 and defamed my reputation. I invoiced her again what the total new amount was disregarding her slander and manipulation. I would like to be paid in FULL for the job I completed for her festival.

    Frankly, in my 35 years as an event planner, I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior or worked with a vendor that repeatedly failed to deliver services using a basic level of competence. The laundry list of complaints from staff and attendees and the deficiencies in capability were quite significant. I have shared with this vendor extensive documentation that includes detailed testimonials and the hours worked by over 7 staff members who were forced to provide assistance which was outside of their scope of work as detailed in their contracts. Not one was supposed to be in the kitchen doing her job; but all provided help to ensure that attendees had meals. Additionally, each and every attendee who responded to the event survey noted that the meal service was a weak point of the event because not one meal was served on schedule with most at least an hour late and some even more than an hour late which severely impacted the educational programming for which attendees paid a significant amount of money. The services we agreed upon are not accurately described in the BBB complaint. She did not even provide all of the agreed upon services as many attendees did not have the grab and go food options detailed in our texts. Despite her misrepresentations and the existence of well documented evidence of her failure to provide services, her inappropriate behavior onsite, and a host of other concerns, I went to great lengths to try to reach a fair resolution. My attempts were met with her habitually generating lies regarding this issue, engaging in phone harassment, and lodging multiple threats to publicly disparage my company. I have not disparaged or manipulated her in any way. As she has repeatedly indicated she will litigate her baseless claims, I ask that you please avoid publicly disseminating her lies. Perhaps, if it is within BBB protocols, please refer her to the court/mediation as the appropriate forum for resolution.
