    Although this business has (or are least used to have) very skilled technicians who individually did good work installing (1 new) or repairing (2 old) geothermal systems for us, with the change in senor management about 2-3 years ago they have become downright irresponsible, bordering on unethical. Examples: In 2022 they tried to charge me for a common part (capacitor)--exclusive of labor--at 10x the online RETAIL cost. I paid the rest of the repair bill but refused to pay that part (on principle--it was not a big piece of the total). They told me we would work it out--and then they stopped responding to my calls and emails, in the process dropping the ball on two other pieces of the repair, which they have yet to complete. Then today I received an email survey from them (presumably sent to all their customers) asking about my preferences for possible service contracts. I took the time to fill it out, then immediately received, not an offer or a thank you, but a numbered INVOICE for a maintenance contract. I replied with an email of complaint and then received, not a note, apology, or explanation but rather another invoice (!) with the subject line "Maintenance Agreement Renewal Reminder". In short, the management of Ground Loop appears to have no interest in customer relations, but only in money (I kind of gathered that from a conversation I had with Scott last year, but this is further proof). I recommend you avoid them if at all possible.

    Great company delivering quality service and great workmanship. Their customer service is very responsive. Ground Loop and my new geothermal system have been exceeding all of my expectations so far. I highly recommend their services.
