    In Sept 2023 I gathered quotes to conduct a survey of a piece of land that is to be sold. The company offered a boundary survey, and I also needed the property to be staked out. I also needed to make sure the survey drawing the company provided would be able to serve as a "recordable plat," since such a plat is required as part of the sales contract. Wilkerson & Associates surveyors provided a quote of $2800 for the service. ****I wrote an email on 9/21/2023 to verify that the agreement was as intended. Specifically I wrote "My clients ***** *******, **** ****** and **** ****** would like to order a boundary survey on their land. You quoted me a price of $2800 for marking the boundaries (including some extra stakes on the 3 non-road sides) and drawing a recordable plat. Can you confirm this assignment? Please also let me know the time frame for completion (a non-rush timetable is fine)." ****** **** responded on 9/26/2023 "Hi *****: This is correct and once payment received we will start within two weeks and the time frame for completion is 45 days. Thanks ******" ********* ******* paid the company $2700, and a remainder of $100 is still due. ***The drawing provided is labeled as a "Stakeout Exhibit", it bears several notes including "This exhibit drawing is not a boundary survey and does not meet the minimum standards for a boundary survey as defined by COMAR regulations." The drawing does not bear a surveyors seal. ***After several calls to resolve the issue with no clear response from the company, I wrote an email 12/11/2023 to **. **** requesting resolution. He responded by recounting our initial phone call partly differently than it actually was and stating that "the attached drawing confirms what is in the deed. You can use the drawing and have it recorded with a deed." Thus he still does not meet the agreed-upon and almost completely paid for services.

    3 days ago this company took $2500 out of my account when I only authorized $1000 to reserve a service. They did not email me with a receipt and have not attempted to refund me. Filed a claim through my bank as well. Still not resolved.
