I had an autob loan with this company. I filed chapter 13 in July. Since then Shore United has pinged my credit as late payments. After 2 months of back a d forth they finally removed the deliquint hits on my account. It has started again in December where they started to say I am late and pinging my credit. Except this time they are ignoring my requests to fix the issue. So I have 2 months of delinquent payment on my credit that isn't correct and the company is refusing to talk to me.

      Good morning,

The Bank received a website inquiry on 1/14/25.  The complaint was reviewed.  The customer's loan is still outstanding and is being paid through an approved Chapter 13 bankruptcy plan filed in ********  We intent to correct the past due reporting and have communicated this through email to the customer.  Mr. ********* has acknowledged receipt of the email and thanked us for the update. Our system has been updated to correct the past due reporting, and it should reflect on the credit bureau within 60 days.

      Thank you,

This issue has been going on and on and on with this bank and I can never get anyone to help me. I have NEVER been late however THEIR system is so laggy and after I make the payment it doesn't process it until AFTER the due date. I MAKE the payment on time and the system posts it seemingly whenever they feel like it.

I have ALL the proof in the world, I have conf #'s and print outs showing it was BEFORE my due date, I have made payments with reps on the phone to prevent this.

They are completely destroying my credit with this, what I Can only describe as a scam, I have shown them all this proof they completely ignore it.

Its either human error or the payment system but either way this issue is not on MY end, I'm making my payments on time as you can see from my proof (and this is just one of many)

We have made the customer aware that "transfers to/from accounts at other financial institutions can take 2-3 days to process." and this message shows when the customer makes the payment. We have discussed different options with the customer and the customer is now making ACH payments. Payments are being made almost 30 days after the due date. The last payment received on 8/29/22 for the 7/30/22 payment was unable to be applied to the loan due to insufficient funds. A payment was received on 9/7/22 for 7/30/22.

How can you explain that the "posting date" on the payment receipt / Conf page is LYING?????

"yes it says it will post before you are late but its lying it REALLY posts on XXX date" ??? thats not OK

      Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/09/15) */
The customer has been making electronic payments since the beginning of the year. Attached you will find the last three payment confirmations and I have attached the payment history so you can see the payment is posted on that date. You will also see the 6/30/22 payment was made on 7/27/22. The 7/30/22 payment was made on 8/29/22 but that payment was returned and paid on 9/7/22. This payment will be reported late to the credit bureau.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
      1. According to my bank it was NEVER returned and I showed you proof of that!!! so please once again stop lying.

      2. as you can see by the dates you YOURSELF posted, I NEVER let it go beyond 30 days!!

      3. Your system shows posting dates, it can't just LIE and you post it 3 days later and mark me late lol

      Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/09/30) */
All ACH payments up to 6/30/2022 have been paid before being 30 days past due. I have attached the loan history from January and Returned Report. The customer is looking to payoff this loan. We are awaiting the payoff check and have been in contact with the customer.

      Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2022/09/30) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
If all before 6/30/22 were never 30 days late why is my credit reporting 30 days late?

Lets get that corrected and this complaint is over

      Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2022/10/06) */
All payments from January 1, 2022, to June 30, 2022, have been made prior to being 30 days past due.
The August 30, 2021, payment was made on October 1, 2021, and the October 30 payment was made on December 2, 2021. The December 30, 2021, payment was made on January 31, 2022. We still have not received the payoff for this loan which the customer stated was sent on September 26th.

      Consumer Response /* (4200, 19, 2022/10/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
      1. The payments in 2021 Were NOT made on those dates (that is the point of this complaint) when I made the payment you system showed they would be posted BEFORE my account is 30 days late, then you post them a day or 2 later rendering them late, how can you just ignore what you payment Conf page says when it will post?

it claims it will post on the 29th, YOU post it on the 2nd of the following month and claim its late? thats giving false info and its illegal

      2. As far as pay off, im trying to figure out if I was scammed, Did you give them the pay off amount without me on the phone recently?

      Consumer Response /* (3000, 30, 2022/10/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Nothing was ever resolved. Your system lies about the dates leaving the customer lied too and that's unacceptable

      Consumer Response /* (2000, 33, 2022/10/26) */
SF- This dispute was resolved according to the BBB.
