      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The company response statements are not true:

1.” After receiving the cabinets, **** did not like the
style of one of them. Unfortunately the cabinet line did not have the specific
      look that she wanted. “

---I did not receive the cabinet that I ordered.

      2. ”After much back-and-forth communication between
***************** Cabinets regarding the cabinets, Sabrina agreed to return
****** deposit and schedule a pick up date to get the cabinet back. For quite some
time she waited for the customer's scheduling of when it was convenient for
that, but never heard back. “

---After multiple requests, Sabrina never called back to
schedule a pickup, nor did she agree to refund a payment, which I made in CASH.
She only responded back when she saw a credit card draw back on her company statement
      more than a month later.
In fact, after the payment was completed, Sabrina was never available and was always “with
another client or in a meeting”. It became a problem when I had contractors scheduled
to continue their work.  I could only get
in touch with her by going directly to the store, which was very inconvenient and
time consuming. Sabrina was dishonest and disrespectful to my time and to my
      contractor’s time.

      3. ”Maryland Style Marble & Granite had never gotten a
bad review over 7 years of business. “

---There many 1 and 2 star reviews visible on ******, including
recently, all confirming the unresponsive management and disrespectful
      treatment of customers.

      4. “We are still to hear back from her on that, as she does
not reply to any communication attempts.”

---I did not respond to Sabrina’s multiple unprofessional and
threatening personal phone text messages.  I responded to all email communications from
the company and offered a few pick up times/days during my available business hours,
which the company chose to ignore.

      Sincerely,

      **** *******

company, which they completed in a timely manner. The wrong vanity is still sitting in my garage taking up my space.
I finally heard from Sabrina only after I reversed the c/c in the amount I paid for the wrong vanity ($760). I received multiple threatening texts from her! I gave her a time and date to pick up her vanity from my garage. Instead of picking it up, they informed me that Sabrina has a different company that is dealing with cabinets. I never dealt with any other company, but Maryland Style Marble and Granite, which lists cabinetry as part of their business on their own website. All my contracts and payments (cash 11/18/22 $2280 & c/c 11/18/22 $568 & 12/28/22 $514.80) were made to Maryland Style Marble and Granite company, which lists Sabrina as head of operations. At no point in time I was informed that I was dealing with another company. Sabrina chose to ignore my phone calls and requests for exchange and was refusing a refund of cash in full for what I paid her.

      Business Response

      Date: 03/09/2023

When **** first called Maryland Style Marble & Granite she was informed that Sabrina was in charge of cabinets. They scheduled a meeting and she was told that Maryland Style Cabinets did not take credit cards, and that cabinet payments are made in full upon approval. **** agreed to these terms, and after much negotiation and many discounts applied to her quote, approved of the order of two cabinets.
After receiving the cabinets, **** did not like the style of one of them. Unfortunately the cabinet line did not have the specific look that she wanted. She was told that the cabinet company charges a restocking fee, to which she refused to pay.
Meanwhile, Paola, the project manager from Maryland Style Marble & Granite reached out to her, to get her deposit for the countertop for the one vanity that she decided to keep. She used a card, and paid for the deposit, and after the top was installed, confirmed everything looked good and approved of the final payment.
After much back-and-forth communication between ***************** Cabinets regarding the cabinets, Sabrina agreed to return ****** deposit and schedule a pick up date to get the cabinet back. For quite some time she waited for the customer's scheduling of when it was convenient for that, but never heard back.
About a month ago, Maryland Style Marble & Granite received a letter from their credit card machine company saying that **** disputed both charges on her credit card, from the countertops. On the same day, **** wrote a bad review on ******. While Maryland Style Marble & Granite and Sabrina were trying to communicate with her to find a solution, she stated that she was going to start charging storage fees for the cabinet that was at her house, yet not working with either company on a day that would be convenient for the pick up. We are still to hear back from her on that, as she does not reply to any communication attempts.
Both companies operate from the same showroom, but we inform customers that they are different companies. Both are local small businesses, and only thrive due to the great customer service and attention to detail on every project. This situation was caused by **** herself not liking a cabinet that was approved by her, and then rejecting the fact that the cabinet company themselves, not Maryland Style Cabinets, charged a restocking fee.
Maryland Style Marble & Granite had never gotten a bad review over 7 years of business, and **** went above and beyond to throw their reputation under the bus for reasons they are still to understand.
