      In fall of 2020 we purchased a new HVAC and split unit for our house and garage. In early summer of 2021 the split unit was not cooling correctly. We called the company and they came out and said it needed Freon but they couldn’t find a leak. In 2022 we had to call them again for the split unit which again needed Freon. They admitted this was unusual but couldn’t find a leak. In 2023 we call again for the same problem and after numerous calls, the Owner, Bill, came out because we told them it wasn’t running correctly and there was liquid on the shelf below the unit. Bill came and looked at it and said the unit was not installed correctly by his son. The cover of the unit was falling apart , apparently because of the way it was installed. Bill said he would take care of it and gave us his personal cell phone so we could get a hold of him readily. My husband has contacted him numerous times and Bill has stopped responding. We just want to have a good working unit that isn’t broken into pieces.

      I am rejecting this response because no call received. Bill can call my husband, Tom. Tom has texted him numerous times. Tom used the small inheritance he received from his mother to buy this split unit because I encouraged him to give himself a gift from his mom and it upsets me that it has never worked and nobody has made it right for him.

      I am rejecting this response because: Advanced did call and set an appointment, however, nobody showed for the appointment . My husband called and followed up and was told the part hadn’t yet arrived and they would call us. It has been over a month and we are still waiting. My husband will continue to follow up and see if we can get a response from advanced.

      Advanced Solar Installed 20 panels of solar and one invertor in 2018. The invertor is guaranteed for 10 yrs. It hasn't worked since the beginning of March ******* needs to be replaced. I called the owner spoke to him once, he said he would come over and never did. He asked me to send him pictures of the model of the invertor which I did. Have not heard for him since. I have made 13 calls to him and his business to no avail. I am losing money because none of the solar panels are being converted because the Invertor is not working. can you please, please help me. I am 71 yrs old and cannot handle this stress much more.Thank You, ******** ****

      Advanced Solar Heating and Cooling of Maryland was paid $38,750.00 for a combined Solar Panel System for two meters and two HVAC (Electric Heat Pump) Systems. The Final Contract was signed June 07, 2021. The Solar Equipment installation on my roof was completed December 6, 2021. The final payment, for the Solar portion of the contracted work, was paid December 10, 2021. The DelMarVa Power Net Energy Metering Department Final Interconnection Approvals were issued, also referred to as the In-Service Date, April 14, 2022 for the Larger Meter ("Main") and April 15, 2022 for the Smaller Meter ("In-Law"). The nature of the dispute is the fact that included in the Final Contract was the commitment "all necessary paperwork for applicable federal, state, and local grants included." The Green Grant Energy Program of Delaware Application window was 1-year from In-Service Date: April 14, 2022 through April 14, 2023 for the Larger Meter ("Main") and April 15, 2022 through April 15, 2023 for the Smaller Meter ("In-Law"). However, due to poor time management-particularly concerning completion of an approximately 20 minute "Shade Analysis" not performed until March 29, 2023-and errors repeatedly found by Green Grant Energy Program of Delaware in paperwork submitted by Advanced Solar Heating and Cooling of Maryland beginning May 1, 2023 which they failed to satisfactorily correct, the application window has expired. September 22, 2023 at 10:18AM was the last successful communication with Advanced Solar Heating and Cooling of Maryland. As of today January 24, 2024 no communications nor activity from Advanced Solar Heating and Cooling of Maryland concerning the overdue $8,000 Green Energy Grant has been received.

      We bought our HVAC system from Advanced Solar ******************************************** July 27, 2021, we purchased a yearly maintenance plan from them. It is suppose to cover A/C check-up, heating check-up also all parts, labor and top-priority on service calls. May 2022, my A/C was running warm. ****, the owner, came out and told me the A/C coil has a leak and that he would order this part. He added Freon. June 10th, 2022, I received voice mail from Advanced Solar stating the coil was shipped from manufacturer. I called and left voice mails on 6/20, 6/27 and the morning of 6/28 nobody answered or called back.I called the afternoon of 6/28 and a lady answered the phone - said the office manager was on vacation and she would try and locate our part/coil. 6/29- Left message stating if the part cannot be located I would need more Freon in my A/C because it was getting hot. 6/30- Office lady said she was able to talk to **** and he is going to reorder my coil from another vendor and that *****, a tech, would be out to add more Freon. He did show and added Freon.7/26 and morning 8/2 - I called no answer, left voice mail.I called back on 8/2- lady answered said she was "filling in" but she did get my morning message, she would let **** know I called but she has no information on my coil.8/17 & 18- no answer LVM.8/21 sent request for service thru Advanced website.8/23, 25 & 29- called left messages - my husband, Mondo sent a text to Bill's private number 9/1 - Mondo texted. Advanced called to say Bill would be out to add Freon He added Freon. When I asked about the part. **** explained his part ordering woes and hoped the part would be easier to get now that peak-season was over. I told him I would call in October if I didn't hear from him.10/14 - I got a voice mail from Bill stating he had confirmation from his distributor that the coil was being sent and he would call me next week to install. Many calls later - NO answer - NO call back.

      10/9/2020 we filed a complaint against Advance Solar and their response was due to Covid-19 they were not able to come out to fix 2 solar panels that have a 10 - year warranty - in the meantime we are not receiving credits from SREC because they failed to provide proper paperwork with certification - we have tried contacting via office and cell phones with no response - we paid a lot of money to him and have a lot of panels
