Several years ago, most of my home's windows were ***laced by LochRaven Aluminum. These windows were supplied and purchased by Loch Raven Aluminum / Owner **** ***** to be used in my home. These windows were fine for a few years. Throughout time , some windows are "bowed" causing them to NOT be able to latch. All of the windows are leaking cold air into my home as well. I contacted Baltimore Window Factory directly because the window installer company had went out of business because the owner died.. A *** from Baltimore Window Factory came to my home to inspect , and placed small white foam sponge blocks on the edge of the window bottoms. I was told this is their fix for air leakage , and the windows i bought are not being made anylonger. I was asked not to contact the company in the event the sponge blocks did not fix the issue of the air leaks since they have attempted a ***air , and there is no other fix for this. I was told by the *** the "bowed" windows that wont lock anylonger are my problem since they do not make them anymore. In closing , I want to ***ort that none of the window problems were fixed ever . The sponge blocks did not fix the leaking air , and they offered zero assistance to ***air the windows that are bowed , and will not latch or lock. I am very unhappy with the quality of these ***lacement windows along with the answers and actions that were gotten from Baltimore Window Factory upon their visit to my home to inspect the windows .. The windows that I ***laced leaked less air than these newer windows and this is unacceptable.. why did I pay $7,500 and get zero warranty.. the installer known as Loch Raven aluminum /Mr **** ***** has since passed away and his business is no longer in operation
