      I contracted Griggs and Sons to replace the 6 tempered insulated glass panels at the front door entrance. The panels were getting condensation inside the panels. That was the reason I wanted the panels replaced. After the work was performed, I paid Griggs Glass in full $1419.29 by Check on 6 OCT 2022. A few days later, I noticed that one of the panels was holding condensation again, just as it did originally. Griggs came out and took the one panel to their store and put the panel back in and told me outright that if the panel held condensation again they would not try to repair it. I did not reply to hat statement. Soon after I noticed the same condensation problem in the same panel. I emailed Griggs yet again last week and asked that they either fix the issue or refund my payment. They have not responded.

      Dear Ms. ******,
      This is a response to the above complaint, an account of events that took place.
      Ms. ****** called our office to request an estimate for some fogged windows around her door.
      The original estimate was set up for October 8, 2021. At this time Griggs & Son Glass & Mirror
      gave two separate quotes for replacement of the glass. One estimate was for standard
      tempered glass IG units, the second was for Beveled edge tempered glass IG units. We called
      her with the quotes. She stated she was only interested in the Beveled glass option which was
      emailed to her. We never received a response at that time.
      August 9, 2022 we received an email stating she was ready to have the glass around her door
      replaced. She was told because of the timeline from the original quote there were pricing
      increases in the industry and we would have to re-quote. We got new pricing for the glass and
      submitted an updated quote to her on August 10, 2022.
      An installation date was set up for September 2, 2022. When our people arrived at the job site,
      they discovered the distributor made a mistake on the glass size and they needed to be
      re-ordered.
      The new glass was received and installed October 6, 2022.
      Ms. ****** called our office and stated that one of the glass units had condensation.
      November 30, 2022 our installers went to her home to correct any issues.
      I have not had any contact with her since. We offer a 1 year warranty on all of our installation
      and are more than willing to correct any problem that may arise if given the opportunity to do so.
      We understand sometimes things can happen that are unexpected and out of our control but we
      strive to correct any issue that comes up. We take great pride in the work we put our name on
      and want our clients happy with the work and products they receive.
      We are more than willing to correct any issue there may be if given the opportunity. Should we
      contact her at this point or should we wait for her response?

      installed in her home
