    Invoice Number: ***** Service Date: July 6, 2024 Vehicle Make: ***** Vehicle Model: ISF Year: 2008 Service: Window Tinting Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against Doctor Tint and Details regarding damage to my vehicle during a window tinting service.During the service, the technician informed me that there were difficulties with the door panels and that the door trim appeared soft. I instructed him to proceed with caution. Upon retrieving my vehicle, I noticed damage to the door panels that was not present before the service.The technician was apologetic and took responsibility for the damages and a discount on the tinting service was given but did not address the damages. The following day, I discovered that the passenger door could not be opened from the inside, nor could the power door lock mechanism be operated. I contacted the shop, and the technician again acknowledged the issues and took responsibility. He suggested bringing the car in for further inspection. Given that Doctor Tint and Details is not licensed nor equipped to handle such repairs. I informed him that I would obtain an estimate for the damages from *****, to which he responded, "Get the estimate and send it over, we'll take care of it."An insurance claim was filed for all of the damages done to the vehicle, but the insurer would not cover the full extent of the damages and informed me that by accepting their settlement, I would not be able to take legal action against the shop for the remaining balance of the estimate. I reached out to Doctor Tint and Details to resolve the issue but have not received a satisfactory response.I am seeking assistance from the Better Business Bureau to address this matter and obtain a fair resolution for the damages done to my vehicle.Thank you for your attention to this issue.     Doctor Tint and Details is a family owned and operated business servicing the local community for over 27 years.  Our reputation is very important to us and is a huge part of our success.  This clients accusations are entirely false.   The vehicle in question had significant damage to it when it arrived at our shop. The owner pointed out all of these issues prior to working on the vehicle.  We do not appreciate this customer attempting to damage our reputation with these outrageous lies.  This matter has been brought to the attention of our insurance and does not require any additional response on our end.  Thank you.
