      On November 5, 2024, Topper Construction Company (TCC) installed a *** ********** HDZ roof on my house. The roof comes with a ************************* Warranty 50 years 100% Coverage Defective Materials, 25 years 100% Workmanship coverage. Topper provides a 10 year warranty on all labor, workmanship and materials. One of the line items to be supplied and installed was ridge vents which eliminate the need for an attic fan and the additional energy expense. However, when the weather changed and temperatures were above 70 degrees, the fan which is still in my attic blows continuously. Either the ridge vents were not installed, or they were not installed properly. I contacted rep via phone on May 5 & 7, 2025 and articulated my concerns. I was told that ***** would call me the next day. I have not received a return call. Consequently, I emailed Mr. ** Topper and Mr. ******** of *** on May 9, 2025 requesting someone come out and inspect my roof. To date, I have not received a response or an acknowledgement of my email.

      No specific date or time has been scheduled for the inspection. *** is aware that I'm available on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. Until an actual inspection occurs, I remain unsatisfied.

      Please don't close my complaint. The inspection has not occurred. *** will inspect my roof May 21st for the ridge vent and soffit.

      2nd complaint I’ve filed against topper. David W**** came out and said they would resolve the issues we had with the house. They redid a large portion of the issues. They did however leave our back gutter out of wack. It currently leaks from the middle of it because they set the pitch on it incorrectly. Also, there’s obvious damage to the facia they had the gutter attached to due to it overloading with water because our gutter guards had gone missing after the initial install. David refused to repair it on their dime stating that there was no proof that it wasn’t like that before their install. He did however promise to re-pitch the gutter so it would drain properly. That was a couple months ago, and he refuses to message me back about it. We are extremely frustrated with Topper as these issues have been going on for over a year. We don’t want to hire a lawyer. We just want our house fixed. We are sick of the runaround.

      This complaint has been addressed. The picture submitted is old. The contract wasn't with Topper Construction but Lowes. In an effort to accommodate the homeowner we have gone above and beyond the original scope of work (roof only), the fascia corner was caulked and the rear gutter was adjusted on 9/22/23
